@BB - the treasury made that forecast last quarter mate, just google Australian treasury iron ore forecast and plenty of articles about it - but they did say it was a conservative outlook and certainly there will be other factors such as national infrastructure plans from many countries that will help circumvent lower demand from a Chinese reduction, as I say, two years is a long time.

Iron prices will fluctuate and we're estimating or using other analysts predictions and impossible to say who will be right but of course prices may cool down somewhat from a peak eventually, certainly what I expect to happen personally but there are other factors that should ensure a steady demand remains keeping them healthy IMO.
What will be of more importance is that Bill working with Mining Plus builds a feasible and profitable proposition taking into account various scenarios in relation to a range of price forecasts including the very conservative forecasts which is how the Oz treasury termed Christoper's pasted info..
As long as the operation is set up to account for these lower forecasts using optimal operational efficiency then we won't have an issue and of course we're still around 2 years away and a lot can happen in that time to negate any forecasts being made now.

He'll have a lot to do in regards to Havieron as I am sure Shaun will want GGP to be involved in working with NCM and probably be expected too and planning and assessing other opportunities and projects in time as Shaun has stated in his growth strategy plans. Shaun also stated he was hiring a mining engineer last month to grow a core team for Hav initially - so this wasn't unexpected news.
Some here look to be convincing themselves that he has been brought onboard because we have already made another discovery - best to avoid more hype as with scallywag until facts prop up supposition, but of course hopefully we have :-))

Looks like we could realistically be in production in about 20 months from resource establishment , so it is possible the iron ore price will be lower than current levels - but as long as we can turn a profit then it will be viable and with plenty of time to consider this as exploration continues - unless Chris is assuming the global iron ore industry is going to fail based on his research.
Great advantages for UFO will be that set up costs won't be high, DSO to date seems to be near surface and excellent grade therefore negating processing and there is plenty of established infrastructure to aid with road transport and shipping in the area.
Other advantageous factors are that we may hold a lot more DSO in the largely unexplored but promising tenements and that there may also be lower grade ore underneath it that the cashflow from the DSO could partly fund.
We also know from the last RNS that Mining Plus is onboard and has extensive experience with similar DSO grade projects that have recently transitioned from explorer to producer providing valuable data as a benchmark for Alien and will provide robustness to the financial model.

"Based on our conceptual study-level work to date, the Han**** project has the potential to be developed into a niche direct-shipping iron ore producer in the heart of the world-famous Pilbara region of Western Australia."
This is looking like a very feasible operation to me and personally I am looking forward to the next 12 months as we scope the area more and get closer to planning production and assessing feasibility for a longer mine life and throughput if results continue to deliver as they have :-))

I think Group Mining Engineer is a variation on Chief Mining Engineer, as he will probably be the most senior member as the team grows, I.e. if we hit at another tenement or if there is an acquisition.

'Having results' means we are proving up the tenements - which is exactly what explorers do. No one is 'going to take it off our hands' without evidence of something worthwhile to buy or invest as a partner into, we need these results and JORC resource calculations for all sorts of other factors inc. permission to move beyond exploration and future funding requirements for development/production etc. as well.

What is also unknown is the scale of work required so might be a lot less budget required than Cornish Metala - problem is we don't have enough information to do any meaningful analysis bar the fact we know there is work required to enable personnel and equipment to operate down there safely.
I'm going to assume that this was factored in by UFO on decision to explore for potential redevelopment so shouldn't be a major issue, should it turn out to be then I'd be a bit concerned at lack of planning/foresight but let's see how things develop :-)

- Still significant backlogs at Labs.
- First batch of 7 holes from 10 at Sirius are back for Phase 2 drilling with excellent intercepts that tie up really well.
- Provisional modelling shows that there is an ore body there, from surface, continuation of Sirius body defined historically.
- Team from Mining Plus feel there is great potential for a niche standalone project without need of huge infrastructure as proven by a couple of other companies in W.Australia.
- Next steps are to produce JORC compliant initial resource once remaining results back.
- By then should also have data back from western ridge targets soon and have a Phase 3 program lined up and expecting similar or better results for Sirius or better that trigger next phase of drilling on this area (C and E), 2.5 to 3km strike length.
- Also put a team on ground to test the remainder of ridge systems as currently only touched about 15% of the surface of this tenement.
- Expectations on Initial JORC resource provision is hard to provide, only happy to say aim to provide in a timely fashion, assures it is is a top priority.
- Mining Plus have very recent experience and knowledge of brining a similar project to production.
- E.Hills update but mostly highlights of previous interview.
- In regards to access to underground workings of EH, Bill is talking to the original miner who is keen to help with dewatering old workings and other aspects to ensure safe enough to allow equipment and people to work up remaining ore and potential from underground.
- In regards to Munni Munni, have highlighted significant number of targets in north area around EH, plenty of targets being considered and finalising paperwork to allow trenching and drilling in conjunction with current mapping and surface sampling, recently also completed a small work of recon work.

Shaun did mention that along with the recent appointments of a HSE Mgr and CFO he would be augmenting the exploration team with a small 'core team' to act as good partners with NCMt o scrutinise, understand and contribute towards all aspects of the Hav project and that there would be additions such as a mining engineer as now appointed.
And he also expanded on the new personnel being used to develop skills across exploration and production areas for future growth, alongside managing and operating mines in his PR tour.

A lot of the sector is undervalued Silver, I would love for UFO to have as strong fundamentals in a few years as GGP, irrespective of SP in relation to potential at any one time. Havieron is going to be a mine in record time, let's hope for some of that pace of success and development here ;-))

Agreed mate - would be more than happy with 20p in a few years such as GGP journey to date - we'll have a much clearer picture over the next 12 months with the projects further along :-)

I think Arian Silver had around 500m shares issued (£2.5bn market cap) and we have 3.425bn shares - so £5 would be over £17bn market cap and put us into the top 20 biggest miners in the world and also bigger than Newcrest Mining and just under Fortescue on current valuations so 4th biggest operator in Oz, not really realistic at this juncture.
Who knows what the future holds over the years of course but that kind of growth if it ever happens won't be overnight :-)

@Aroberts1 - Shaun's communicated a very detailed plan for the next few years for GGP over the last month, go back and read some of the breakdowns or rewatch the interviews mate.
Additionally, Sandeep in the past and Fraser in his Diggers and Dealers Presentation speak about their preferred partnership approach via JV's and options deals to help secure new ground and share and learn from good partners and how they want to be approached to assess projects from anyone, he also made a point of praising us and Antipa as technically strong groups they love collaborating with.
If they go around pulling underhand tactics with their partners they'll soon find they become less favoured. They seem very responsible and deferential too in terms of respecting ancestral owners of the areas they operate within.

I agree that the new appointment might be partly what caused it and the team also seems to have spent a lot of time studying the historical data to aid the exploration plan for EH. As with project management and any kind of research it is important to be disciplined in your approach and how you manage your resources, so it is good to see Bill has this approach, perhaps one of the pro's in having a Geo as the CEO.
Certainly the second best thing if you can't be there yourself is to have an experienced and competent employee overlooking the drilling, so it will probably pay dividends :-)

- First hole is planned in next few days - drill rig is on it's way
- Chairman Dan is based in Perth, helping to support local issues and logistics
- Exploration Mgr is Oz based and performing day to day duties
- 7 holes planned, focusing on historical ore body in phase 1, about 25% was extracted from original resource, feels there is a lot of remnant ore still present
- Looking at historical work Bill senses there is a larger mineralised system surrounding the silver deposit i.e yolk inside egg white. Partly testing this with some of the deeper holes on the southern end of ore body.
- Using core drilling to maximise geological, structural information gathering, core will also be orientated to help aid this.
- Testing all parts of ore body, historical deeper HG zones, mid zone (transitional zone) and oxide layer that was never mined and was credited for 1 MoZ. Bill believes it was poorly tested, so potentially holds more ounces.
- The NUGGET is discussed when host discusses previous success lol
- Initial resource was never fully mined out, Bill also believes there might be a repeat silver ore body as well as the larger mineralised system related to nickel, copper, platinum group metals as the surrounding area is very prospective for these.
- Bill looking forward to adding modern technological information to the previous historical data.
- Bill genuinely believes program will unearth new information leading to a huge growth of project potential, feels a much bigger system trending hundreds of metres if not kilometres north and south that will be explored in follow on programs once latest understanding is under his teams belts.
- Priority of program is quality not quantity of core i.e high recovery percentage.
- Plans to communicate regular updates to the market.

*Improving their exploration capabilities
- Thinking outside the box by using machine learning to analyse historical public data of Australian wide geochemical data to identify and rank potential targets of bigger ore deposits. Also applying to other jurisdictions.
- Adopted use of two Truscan units at Red Chris (XRF instruments) as part of core logging process to photograph and scan cores to give real-time metal values at the time of drilling to enable real-time decision making in regards to drill planning and rig location.
- This is helping to circumvent issues being experienced through industry wide assay delays and turnarounds experienced over the past few months.
- Advantages include being able to ‘log smarter’, geo’s have the geochemistry to hand before starting and they’re also using machine learning to identify basic structures lithology to help focus their efforts and move away from metre by metre logging to speed up the process.
- Closes section by mentioning they’re doing a similar exercise or just starting that journey up at Haverion.

*Deliver value through growth and exploration strategies
- Through three pillars:-
- Partnership: most of their projects are JV’s or option deals, it is their preferred method as helps them to capture good ground and work with really good groups to share knowledge and also learn from, are always happy to review projects with anyone as constantly looking for something new.
- Leverage off exploration DNA & Technology
- Mining capability is key as not only can they explore deeper but can also turn these all around.

*Answering a question from the host about dealing with challenges from increased cost of mining services and the lab delays
- The 21-day turnaround they aim for is currently out to 40-60 days like most others.
- Another industry challenge is obtaining good drillers, geologists and support staff, so they are helping to develop the next generation of personnel.
- Shortage of resources and price pressure really keeps them moving.

*Detailed look at Havieron
- 400m of cover under which they’ve seen mineralisation to at least 800m below that.
- Deposit is centred on a NW trending corridor of calc silicon alteration, surrounded by better embedded sentiments (variable intensity of alteration in that zone) but alteration and mineralisation is centred around the NW trending body of diorite dykes.
- Mineralisation and resources at this stage predominantly hosted within the SE Crescent which if stretched out below unconformity would be about 500-600m long and 20m wide.
- It’s funnel shaped so as you go deeper to about 800m into it, it is down to around 200m.
- Intriguingly, as you go deeper they’re seeing some significant grades and some of the better intercepts at depth are listed on his presentation slide. Slide also shows intercept drills below 4400m RL with plus 1-gram intercepts, so gives you a feel for the extent of the mineralisation.
- Deposit is associated with variable amounts of sulphide quartz and carbonate that forms in brushes or vein infill in a typical Hav style mineralisation.

*Growth program in place
- Testing series of exploration targets to support potential resource growth in three main areas over the next 12 months.
- SE Crescent Deeps (HG open at depth): drilling sitting below resource is still open with significant intercepts, trying to define extent of the higher grade and continuity of mineralisation
- Northern and Eastern Breccia Targets (Open HG Mineralisation): NW Hav trending corridor hosting two zones of higher-grade mineralisation in N Breccia and NW pod. Drilling around these to define footprint of the higher grade and to see if the corridor links into a bigger single zone of mineralisation.
Work on Eastern Breccia is early stage with only a handful of holes into it so they don’t currently understand the geological controls and dimensions of system, but encouraged by some good intercepts and presence of HG which could indicate the presence of an additional NW corridor, currently testing this concept.
- 3 new targets within Hav proximity: with potentially similar Geophysical properties, so again the question is, are there more Hav’s floating around Hav?

NCM General Exploration Mgr. Fraser MacCorquodale presentation focused on exploration and growth strategy

*Growth Strategy
- Leveraging off mining & exploration capability, technology, innovation and collaborative relationships with their partners.
- 3 keys areas are Hav, Red Chris and additionally some early-stage growth opportunities in other jurisdictions.

*Looking Deeper and opening up new search spaces
- Differentiate from peers by targeting belts where they can find higher value deposits and bring something to it and their partners through their experience and capabilities.
- Two main focus areas are the Paterson and W.A through Telfer and Hav and also the Golden Triangle centred on Red Chris.
- All about growing resource space to leverage off existing infrastructure.

*Why does Newcrest look deeper?
- They feel that the top 100 to 200m in outcrop areas is pretty much exhausted, however if you go into these regions and look deeper under cover, there are still great discoveries to be made.
- Top success stories of late are from companies brave enough to look deeper, with the best example being the Hav discovery by GGP who were brave enough to drill over 400m under cover with holes up to a kilometre deep and the rewards for both NCM and GGP have been fantastic.

*Newcrests experience in deep exploration and mining
- Started over 20 years ago at Telfer and continued at Red Chris and other provinces.
- Newcrest developed their extensive skills in bulk underground mining capability by looking deeper and developing techniques to extract these minerals.

*Most recent exploration success is at Hav
- Located in Paterson, W.A, 45km east of Telfer under 420m of cover in a JV with GGP
- Hit ground running over two years ago with aggressive drilling campaign with over 180,000m of drilling to date despite serious factors such as the pandemic and wet weather issues to contend with.
- Amazing job by team to outline a large area of mineralisation leading to delivery of an initial inferred resource in Dec 2020 of 3.4 MoZ of gold and 160,000 tons of copper and a growth program is in place right now to grow the resource space.

- Also they’re not just looking at Hav, the question is if there are more Hav’s in the district as the style of mineralisation being seen at Hav usually performs in clusters - so where are the other ones?
- To this note they have two active JV’s in the region with Antipa and GGP, who are both technically strong groups they love collaborating with. Both projects are managed by those companies and right now they have drill rigs churning away drilling under cover targets.
