Those believing we won't get news this side of Xmas are not very realistic? I'm not suggesting you are wrong but every Xmas during the run-up to Xmas Eve there are literally 100's of news reports RNS' during the last 3 weeks in Decemver.
I would point out that all those companies reporting (many are miners) do so because for all sorts of reasons their awaited RNS has arrived...and possibly caught investors unawares?

Never say never....imo, news could still drop before the year's end...even this week. I am confident of news within the next 10 days because i believe the BoD are aware of a possible sell-off coming into the Xmas break and how some will need Xmas cash.

Often in the past with some mining stocks re-testing was done on some exceptional results.v.
Solomon Gold in 2010 ? did so (before the name change to Solg) on a small gold find in FIJI. After reporting a 'bonanza' which sent the sp flying, they made the mistake of not making extensive checks. The sp fell back on the news. Thry dont always report that re-checking is being done, they just do it if what THEY see looks exceptional BEFORE sending off their samples. thats all i meant.

Sometimes drilling does throw up some very good assayz and some not so good. I sm sure the very best abd worst, if any are re-tested to make double sure that reporting the results is delayed for the purpose of accuracy and tocavoid misleading shareholders? If there are too many bad results...then delays could occur.
