Alien Metals plc (LON:UFO) Executive Chairman Rod McIllree caught up with ************* to discuss strategy, why Han**** is the flagship project, key milestones to look out for and updates on the Elizabeth Hill and Munni Munni projects.

Q1: Firstly, could you just give us a brief overview of the company and its strategy?

A1: I’m a relatively recent arrival to the Alien Metals team, I joined around August/September last year and I was really focused in on the iron side of the equation of this business.

One of the challenges that small companies face getting access to these sorts of regions, if you like, is they tend to be fairly well dominated by the larger players, you’ve got the usual suspects, BHP, Rio Tinto etc.

So, I think for us to actually have such a large and valuable land holding within these iron provinces, that’s still direct shipping, access to a multi-user port, low capex, low opex, all the ingredients here are for a project that’s really, once it’s up and going, is going to be quite an attractive little investment opportunity for us.

Q2: So, what was your reasoning for coming on board and then investing so heavily in the company?

A2: Look, I guess the simple answer to that is that, as I said, iron is a fairly simple proposition, you don’t need any upgrading, the infrastructure is already in place, we don’t have to build our own ports and processing etc., this is a direct shipping material.

I guess what really got me excited about Han**** was that I flew over the license in a helicopter from one end to the other, and one of the things that became very apparent very quickly is that these resources, in my mind, are only a very small part of the overall picture here. This is something that will continue to grow and grow and grow.

What the company now has focused on, because I guess this answers your question of what am I doing about the overall strategy of the business now, is that we have shifted our focus from being a multi-project company that incrementally moves their projects forward to now being singularly focused on bringing Han**** into production.

Now, with reference to the recent drilling, and I’m sure we’ll come to that in a second. One of the things, if investors remember back in September I did advise because the Munni Munni and Elizabeth Hill licenses are also, in their own sphere of influence, very significant assets as well, that we would be undertaking some drilling to test a few ideas that we had been working on at the time. Appointment of new director.

Iconic Labs PLC (LSE:ICON), is pleased to announce that Emmanuel Blouin has been appointed to the Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Mr. Blouin has 25 years of investment and banking experience. He was a senior banker with Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and BNP Paribas, during which he was involved in over €50 billion of capital markets, corporate finance and property transactions across Europe. In 2008, Mr. Blouin established Esterel Capital, a London-based boutique focusing on real estate and finance, where he continues to be Managing Partner.

Yes Deacs...is a lot hogher. But pver the years i have witnessed 200 to 500 baggers from such low prices on the right kind of news. Recovery plays can move fast and with multiple gains over the coursr of a year or two.
However, usually the shares are condolidated before they multibag too much. If you hold on to a fair whack of your original holding and get lucky it is possible to see massive gains.
It happened to me with Beowulf, TANfield, Fronterra Frr and Herencia. They all 200+ bagged from their very lows i made a lot of money BUT did not see any of them through from the very lows. I actually only managed to 5bag to 12 bag on anything that i was invested in as i always took early profits.
The potentail is there if you can hold and just topslice to derisk.
There are NOT many of us that can hold on for bigger gains when you see your shares ten bag. Most will sell

Dunnit and quite pleased to be involved in ICON.
IF we get to 0.25p which is one quarter of a penny i will topslice 10% but not B4.
I intend to topslice 3x then let the rest run just to see what happens. If it fails then, No Worry No Cry.
My total investment only cost £2,700 for 50million shares, well ahead of any future consolidation.
In a long career of investing, i view ICON as a real game-changer for mininal outlay and potentially one of my best ever investnents. Gla

....We relisted at more than DOUBLE current price at 0.016p when loads sold out to buy back, including myself?

I was temoted to sell but decided my low entry point at 0.0052p was more valuable over the nect few weeks. If i had sold just 20m i would only have made a few hundred quid. By holding out i hope to make many multiples of recent gains. A few hundred quid is not my obsession. If i cannot make at least 25 grand at least...then anything less is peanuts considering the medium to long term potential for just a couple of grand invested?

It seems investors have been late off the blocks, considering the prores made by the directors
Plenty yet to come as the BoD get us back on track.
They'll be plenty of opportunities to invest over the next few months and enough in tge tank gor the next man. The secret here will be choosing when to topsluce and letting the rest run for the big returns ?
Those investing now could prove to be the lucky ones?
