Its now 9:47PM in NSW. So the days drilling work is done, report is ready to go. I'm expecting the drilling rate to have slowed given remarks by CB and other knowledgeable posters. Market seems to 'need' both the RNS AND CB daily interview to 'wake up' each day now! For the moment this is dominated by traders as you would expect in this situation.

Yes and now 5 trades and 27k volume so far represents a busy day for this stock lol. Interesting that the 5k trade got 71p, must've been a buy as well?

Yes fairview, that was the only reason I could think of why the Prof might possibly baulk at the agreement, that another potential JV partner has appeared with a 'better offer'. Not saying it is that BUT worth recalling that he said there was a LOT of industry interest at the mining show they attended, was it last year? And he mentioned some follow up calls after the HoT of JV was announced (congratulating them) from other industry players. Maybe there was a mention of 'if things don't work out....'

Ella10 its fine to speculate. :) Thats what a BB is for..... I think you have a perfectly reasonable point. Why would they want a copper expert to run a particularly expert eye over the drilled cores they have pulled up? CB has said on at least a couple of occasions to Zak 'They're beaudiful Zak beaudiful' So, is he simply referring to them aesthetically or also, perhaps from a geological perspective. I think a bit of both. Maybe more the latter....;)

If the grades are comparable, or lets say higher than Boda or Cadia then I think we wont be able to find enough rocket emojis on Twitter or 'BOOM' comments on here to come close to doing it justice. But hey as you say, feet on ground, lets not get carried away.

Pedro - it’s very interesting because this stock is normally very illiquid and the SP thus sensitive to even small trades. However, we’ve had 3 25k trades printed which in normal circumstances knocked the SP down sharply. But, as of now, hasn’t budged, suggesting to me there is a buyer in the background snapping these up. And if, IF the JV is finally concluded (which I believe for a number of reasons it will be) then that buyer has got a bargain.

In the interview sounded like a man, despite all his experience in the industry, almost as gobsmacked and speechless as the rest of us. Hence the number of times he repeated the word ‘excited’. I don’t think the word ‘excited’ actually quite does this remarkable situation justice.

It’s clear he’s trying to keep a lid on his ‘excitement’ but I suspect he has indulged in some fist pumping and jigs around his home these past few days. ;)

IF this carries on for the next few days we will be comparing to Cadia Newcrest not Bodia.

I am already fully loaded and holding long term but if we get a sniff of sub 30 I won’t be able to resist

So we currently have the supreme irony of the fact we KNOW the size of porphyry system is growing by the hour whilst the SP is simultaneously falling!

Did some research over the weekend. If the Bushranger discovery proves to be comparable to Alkanes Boda then my SP target is between 40-50p here. No less. IF it gets anywhere close to Cadia Newcrest then it’s off the scale from where we are now.

As for the drilling update, CB would have received update reports over the weekend. It seems inconceivable to me that had they finished drilling through the mineralisation zone during the weekend they wouldn’t just report it at 7am this morning.

In short, they MUST still be drilling. And if they are, at 80-90m per day they are over 1000m now which makes Bushranger directly comparable to Boda.
