I think today’s interview with ‘The Prof’ should’ve removed ANY doubt this JV is going to happen. I note with some amusement that all the ‘doubters’ have disappeared in the same puff of smoke with which they appeared in the first place. Which just reiterates that as long as you do YOUR research and stick to the strength of your convictions - not concern yourself with short term SP gyrations- you will do just fine.

Delighted with today’s news. Looking forward to the journey here it’s going to be a blast! And to think it’s all underpinned by a commodities/PM Bull market.

djr no it’s not. A hefty dilution would’ve been at 2 or 3p. 17% against the potential huge new asset is insignificant.

This is an impressive placing at a higher price than most would’ve thought. Not much downside if any from here. Fully Cashed up for drilling programme. What’s not to like.

Hi mike, well firstly the JV needs to be finalised and completed. At the moment what we have are HoT only and ongoing legals/discussions but with a willingness on both parties to complete. So there is still risk from market perspective it won’t happen. If or should I say WHEN it happens expect this to double in fairly short order. Secondly it will take time to prove up incrementally the target resource. They know the gold is there but you have to prove it step by step.

It’s not difficult to imagine a SP of £1.50 here by end of 2021 in the event of JV completion and a subsequent aggressive exploration programme during the remainder of the year.

And one other thing I’ll mention.... Fosterville. Are you aware of it?

Added a further 85k @ 5.05P with a valuation on the company at that price of £31m.

It seems pretty silly not to.

MC £11m against Assets and against realistic potential 9-20m ozs deposit is frankly bonkers.

No disrespect to WSBN, they have a decent prospect or two in Oz but have ZERO resources and haven't found ANY gold yet. Their Mc £21m almost double that of CGNR. Utterly bonkers.

What I've established from my research and just to reiterate Grade is NOT King in Porphyry systems. I say this because there have been negative comments on here suggesting that the grades are key and they have to be above 0.5g Cu. etc. NOT TRUE.

Grades as low as 0.15g Cu can be economical in porphyry systems due to their sheer scale, volume and size and the ease of mass extraction. We are going to easily exceed 0.15g Cu given the very bullish updates on the 'visible' "strong' copper mineralisation.

We await more detailed review of the results of the drill with eager anticipation. I suspect some of the know alls we had on earlier will come scuttling back again within a week!

I wonder whether we got hit by a double whammy today in that GGP released disappointing drill results from Scallywag - denting the markets confidence given GGP is the poster boy of AIM gold explorers and that had something of a knock on effect here. JAT

I suggest it is more a case of just how good the grades will be to determine how much higher the valuation goes from here but Bushranger is hardly priced in at all at this level given XTR's other projects. And the gold, oh we haven't even started talking about the gold yet. Porphyry systems typically form the largest type of gold deposit though not the highest grade (but that does not matter because of the sheer volume)

I've been doing more research. OK heres the clincher, because of their easy-mining large volumes, porphyry orebodies can be economic from copper concentrations as low as 0.15 per cent. Now does anyone seriously believe after the recent RNS updates quoting 'strong copper mineralisation visibility' that our grades are going to be less than that number?

I've already stated several times my SP target for end March is £1 but I may have to upgrade that soon :)
