Anyone not invested here must be prepared to make absolutely no money here. And would be better advised to spend their time and energy somewhere else where they can make money.

I checked out this claim. There is absolutely no basis in truth for it whatsoever. I have trawled through the company RNS’s for the past 10 years, indeed before then and absolutely NO mention whatsoever of a possible JV until March 2019 - less than TWO years ago after they attended a Mining conference. If you are going to make claims like that Pedro you will have to produce the evidence because according to all the company’s official market communications there was none until March 2019. This is entirely consistent with the Profs recent interviews where he has repeatedly stated that it was at the mining conference in 2019 they began looking for a JV partner and received considerable interest which led to the AAZ discussions.

It’s all just ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ from you. Just hearsay, I have the evidence.

The truth is Conroy have never been in this position before. Never had this opportunity before. It does feel like the green eyed monsters are lurking here. Looking back on the past and imagining (hoping even) it will be the same just so they can say ‘I told you so’.

I prefer making money rather than wandering around BB’s wasting your time trying to put people off stocks.

0.5/0.6 is easily high enough grade. From what CB has said previously, in the ‘ stronger mineralisation‘ I suspect the grades will be higher than that in intervals. And don’t forget the drill has encountered Continuous mineralisation’ not in and out

I reckon the Risk-Reward ratio is in well in our favour at that price and chuck in the other potentially short term revenue earning projects. This is not a one trick Pony.

But I think the thing that is blowing my mind is if they find another Big porphyry at Footrot. OMG it will blow the doors off here. I know thats a little way down the road but at the speed CB is progressing things here it might not be to long until the drill bit is spinning there too!

Andrew no you are certainly not reading too much into it.

Strong copper mineralisation surely does not mean by definition - low grade.

Read between the lines and read what they are actually telling us. I think the grades will be fine. If we have economical gold grades too even better - and we might well have.

This really is a very exciting prospect. A proper 'Hot' one too.

And proving up the width of the deposit alone should add value in the short term not withstanding we need the assays for grade. I am confident grades will be more than adequate going on previous drills and other deposits in the district.

Trouble is Rollinginit a lot of people DO just focus on the SP. Hence all the short termism.

Seems to be 175p. The placing price. Will we need definitive news to break it or just speculation? It matters not ultimately if. like me, you are in for the longer haul.

Got to say this is a little disappointing a response. I think quite a lot of speculative money came in here before the Barns results. Traders clearly now departing. Hopefully we will see a more measured upward movement once they are cleared.

MAJWand - absolutely 100% agree. It makes total sense that AAZ would not wish to have ALL their eggs in a jurisdiction which has been conclusively proven to be unstable and risky. I do note a rather lofty look down your nose view on CGNR when I go onto the AAZ board though. Which is both ironic AND amusing when you consider it was not so many years ago they weren't in a terribly different place to CGNR. They forget that! Ireland is one of the BEST and SAFEST jurisdictions in the world for mining.
We can definitely say Azerbaijan is not! What Pedro is indulging in is speculation. We can deal with facts. The facts are that only yesterday the boss of CGNR gave a very confident interview in which he reiterated that the JV WILL be going ahead. I did not detect ANY doubt whatsoever from that interview as to WHETHER it will happen rather than WHEN it will happen. By all means give this a miss if you don't think its going to happen, thats fine. But the current situation, from the horses mouth as it were is that it IS going to happen.

These things just take time.

Baffyman - yes I just checked the chart and to back up your comments we also got a golden cross around the turn of the year where the 20DMA moves above both the 50 and 200 DMA. As you say looks very good indeed!

MC of £1.3 billion you are referring to is GGP’s. IF CGNR went back to £5 (near it’s all time high) unbelievably the MC would still be only £160m - slightly more than a TENTH of the GGP valuation. Perfectly achievable IMHO.

This demonstrates the gigantic potential here. I honestly do not know of another junior exploration stock with the same upside potential on AIM. And that’s because there isn’t another gold stocK like CGNR on AIM that has a MC £13m with a realistic exploration target of 9.8m ozs (on top of their existing JORC resource of over 500k ozs)

This is THE best gold exploration prospect on the AIM market.

vampire - no what you are referring to with ‘will’ is part of the standard ‘notes’ issued at the end of the RNS which they have included on a number of different RNS’s in the past few months. The ‘negotiating’ refers to the current position and is in line with the Profs comments today.

I decided to give this board a miss today because I knew it would be infested with ‘I told you so’ know all’s, Captain Hindsight’s and general time wasters. Thing is it’s not like the rest of us didn’t realise they’d need funding.... DUH. I posted just the other day that a placing wouldn’t bother me bring it on. Well they’ve done it. If you exited higher and get back in lower then I say good luck to you, well done.

We will all do well here at this valuation. Very confident that the SP will be substantially higher by the end of say Q2.
