Well, it proves my concerns and doubts were well founded. Pat on the back for oneself.

It seems likely that the ‘termination’ of the proposed JV with AAZ was not entirely an amicable one since the Prof has offered NO explanation to his shareholders as to why months of negotiations bearer no fruit whatsoever. Not a great trust builder in my view. I wonder when he did that recent interview whether he knew it was going to fail but put on some positive bluster to keep the SP up? Hmmm I wonder.

The new ‘agreement’ is a LOI NOT a HoT. However I understand in legal terms there is little difference. Its inferior in some regards to the AAZ deal. But I need to read it more thoroughly. This is like a game of Snakes and Ladders- sliding right back to the beginning again with all the ‘will it won’t it happen’ uncertainty’ which, let’s face it, after the AAZ fiasco the market will be more cautious this time. How long will it take this time and will the Prof have learnt any lessons?

Glad I have the opportunity to review again and decide if I want to reinvest.

CB would not have bought nearly £60k worth of stock if he had any doubt the grades would be good/economic/satisfactory- however you want to put it. He has already stated at least once that I recall that copper grades will be (at least) the average for the region - so minimum 0.2’ish. No doubt there will some large intervals in excess of that imo.

Gold grades is the unknown but when he describes rich pyrite rock you know gold isn’t far away. I’m confident the gold grades will be at higher end of expectations as a result of all the information about the geology provided in the RNS updates.

The current valuation is going to look so cheap in a few months or possibly weeks some people are going to be kicking themselves. The opportunity is still there!

I think the crucial difference between GGP Havieron and XTR Racecourse is that PM and copper prices are substantially higher than when Newcrest first showed an interest in GGP. Also, with each passing year, Majors reserves are reducing and not being replaced. They need discoveries like this?

And we are in the best place the best jurisdiction. There could be a bidding war let alone worrying about AA exercising their buyback clause!
