I believe CB has received a ‘heads up’ on the assays. I also think his geo experts, with their considerable experience, would’ve been able to provide a supporting opinion.

I think We had an active seller in the market yesterday. 5 million warrants came onto the market yesterday issued at 1.85p. That might explain the drop in SP against what was ostensibly positive news. JAT?

Colin is a wily old bird. Is it possible he could’ve had an advance communication with the assay lab just providing a general steer, a ‘heads up’ on grades? He’s too experienced and long in the tooth to set himself up for a fall by suggesting a 0.4cu (average) grade and then it coming in lower. He knows well enough that wouldn’t go down well. I’m of the belief that he knows the grades are fine. He sounded full of confidence in the Zak interview.

The grades really aren’t going to be an issue imho.

The current market narrative for (gold) miners is gold has gone down therefore it will continue to go down therefore sell miners. So this stock is currently NARRATIVE driven NOT fundamentally driven. Look at the income statement or the BS here, look at the profits, look at the dividend growth and this is a BUY no question. OK it’s in Russia - which means it’s CHEAPER to buy. Even better. The narrative itself is driven by short term volatility in a cyclical PM bull market. Yes PM stocks do have periods, even in a bull market, when they go down. So you buy on the dips.

These guys are making money hand over fist it’s a ‘no brainer’

cyber - yes I am hopeful that risk on grades is actually to the upside rather than the downside given we are talking about deeper down where gold grades particularly can be higher.

CB - sounding not only excited but very confident too. Believes the SP is undervalued and can fly on future cash flow alone with BushRanger in for free. Also he’s confident on the grades highlighting the earlier respectable grades at shallower depth and expecting much the same if not better - as I do too.

Market overly cautious IMO. Today has presented another opportunity...don’t think there’ll be many more at this price.

The only reason I could think of for the very muted, if not negative response - apart from sell on news mentality/MM markdown - is the lack of detail in the announcement. OK, stated as similar to Hole 3 but I don’t think that was sufficient because hole 3 encountered mineralisation deeper down and we had a full summary log. Are we to assume that the summary log for hole 5 is similar but encounters mineralisation earlier? We don’t know and markets don’t like it when they don’t know. It would be helpful, if CB does an interview, if he could add some more pertinent information on the mineralisation encountered. That is if he hasn’t already done it.

One things for certain now, the market isn’t going to attribute any more value here until it starts seeing the assays. Proof of grade is now highly important. I am very confident we’ll get it but we do need it!

Prepare for a Zak special. Seems to me the ShareTalk interview where CB is obviously a lot more animated than in a market announcement.

Someones been offloading this morning (in an orderly fashion) and thats whats kept the SP capped. But still low volume.

Revised full year expectations and further trading update.

By last Monday eve (our time) 1st Match they’d drilled through 80m of outer halo mineralisation having hit it @ just 45m. By this evening nine days will have elapsed since then.

9 days @ 80m per day = 720m + 80m = 800m

So by this evening they should’ve drilled through a minimum of 800m mineralisation (on the reasonable assumption that they keep drilling whilst hitting mineralisation)

Was there a target depth for this hole?

All the obvious signs are there.. A couple of recent announcements to arouse interest. Cash was just £108k last November so must be very tight now.
