On another note volume has dropped to a mere trickle. We are in the midst of holiday season and investors and management alike are taking breaks. No doubt things will pick up considerably here next month.

I agree Doog. There is no denying his passion and enthusiasm and HE is the reason I’m invested here. In a way it feels like he’s living the dream as he was formerly a PI like the likes of us wasn’t he?

But it would give me pleasure to see the guy succeed and make some money at the same time!

Ok so that explains the large transactions @ 140p. Directors selling some of their exercised options. Would like to understand a bit more about ‘tax and subscriptions costs’? The shares cost 1p each!

Anyway, that aside, it looks like most of those shares have already been scooped up in the market judging by the other two transactions @ 140p. Polygon adding again? Be interesting to see if a further holdings RNS materialises for them in next few days/weeks?

My only ‘concern’ is how much do all these RNS’ cost the company? Surely today for example it would’ve been better doing one RNS for the two purchases? Company Costs and all that….

Thanks guys, so you’ve proved the point I was trying to make. That the £8 figure someone else quoted on ADVFN was either in error or misquoted and that the valuation was way way under a realistic figure.

In terms of valuation on a prospective takeover I understand AN has mentioned £8 before. £8 per share seems very cheap to me. That would value the company at just £1.87bn which is peanuts when you consider that this is industry disruptive diagnostics. We are talking about a seismic long term change in cancer detection and personalised treatment. No other liquid biopsy product can do what Parsortix can do. That’s only worth £1.87bn in a hundreds of billions market?

Yes Paul Jourdan quite clear that they are very positive about AGL and see Parsortix as a game changer.

The only ‘chumps’ around here are the ‘chumps’ who swallowed all the hype, all the bull**** and who are consequently losing money hand over fist here. Many joined the party late and missed most of the big rises that occurred on the back of the hype. I should know because I was here before 90% of you lot were!

Still massively overvalued by the market. Ridiculously so. £81m and still NO Covid test sales. This cannot be sustained much longer. I think the markets patience with the constant promise of jam tomorrow is wearing thin. I can see another desperate announcement coming soon to try and prop up the SP. If the UK Govt we’re going to buy anything from this company they would’ve done so by now.

Going to sub 20p at which point I may be a buyer again.

As I’m sure has already been discussed have now doubled their stake in SNG to 10%. It looks like they’ve taken some of Polar Capitals share as they have reduced slightly. But for me the interesting thing is that Polygon have recently made a mandatory offer for Watchstone PLC (formerly the notorious Quindell insurance group). They built up a stake of 30% in Watchstone then submitted a lowball offer of 34p for the company which has been rejected by the board.

Be keeping a close eye on Polygon further increasing their stake here. Not much chance of getting this on the cheap though!

Moonparty and tomphys thanks for your replies. FWIW I don’t think FDA Approval is fully priced in here. Approval is the final step to commercialisation. The final hurdle. Things should really take off from there. Take your pick from various commercial partnerships, contracts to a full blown multi billion take over.

Yes Hairykebab, Jmole is correct. Even if shares are cancelled our holdings would still be valid on readmission.

I’m a lot happier tonight than I was last night about this.

I think to get a balanced view on this development you have to understand what is involved in the duties and responsibilities of a NED. We have to assume that, to some extent at least, this has been mutually agreed. Which would NOT be negative. A pure 100% focus on project management at a critical time for the company utilising this chaps core skills rather than an annoying add on doing corporate and possibly financial and governance stuff seems a bit of a waste. Maybe I am trying to put too much a positive spin on it but to me it makes sense.

Serious question : assuming FDA approval is granted for Parsortix MBC how much do we think is already priced in for this approval? NOT a deramp as I say serious question. Could anybody point me to broker notes or give their own valuation? Cheers

Undeniably this is a positive development. They are adding the caveat that the transactions success is not guaranteed- it’s non-binding as it stands. But the target company looks highly credible and, unlike one it two AIM cyber security plays I could mention, they are actually making money! And landing decent contracts.

Let’s hope this works out.

IF this is ever actually going to happen it must surely now be very close! I can imagine it being a bit leaky here. We will know soon enough if there is anything behind this rise.

Good luck to those who choose to hold but I am very disappointed in this company and do not see a short or even medium term return here.
