'Well done,Ive held for 3+ years and not made a profit lol'
2020?
Thanks for the info, I didnt get that explanation when I asked at the time.
They waffled about a discrepancy delaying their shell payout, the barc one was delayed as they received it 3 days after from barclays.
I'm still annoyed smart investor paid the barc dividend late to its own customers.
Look, since the pandemic recovery we've had the war in Ukraine, Liz Truss and now a few banking jitters to put up with, as long as results don't turn sour, this is undervalued and I don't have a crystal ball but I think it's safe to say barring another any more black Swan events the undervalued ftse shares in general should start heading back up especially as the election gets closer and we have sensible people in charge again.
I contacted them as noticed I hadn't received my barclays dividend also. I pointed out another broker paid me barclays on the 31st and have already reinvested the divi.
They waffled something about a discrepancy on the shell divi but would be paid today or soon. Barclays one they claimed they had only received today. I pointed out the irony and how poor this is.
Riot and set everything on fire?
Same with barclays, assumed due to drip
Bought the dip. Wasn't expecting to increase holding and 1st time I've added since it went over £1.
Nice story...
Haven't been keeping track of news since I sold but now I've seen this post, I know there will be a reasonable gain coming to the share price soon.
Agree slightly gutted i didn't add at those prices.
Forgive me for asking a stupid question but surely if they print the new shares and buy them back, are they not just giving themselves back the money like a fund raise?
I'm very confused why they do this while the buyback is incomplete?
Did not get a chance to add at 19 and bring the average back down, about even now but hopefully we will start to see the sp slowly claw its way back up.

Slightly gutted it hit £8 but happy for everyone and I won't lie, its still on my watch list I won't get back in at this level but everytime it hits another all time high I can't help think of effix and smile, hope you gave up on the short buddy.

I'm more of a lurker than poster. Invested since pandemic as a recovery play, generally happy to take the 2p scrip twice a year for now, although I regret not taking any profit out yet or buying the dip to 30.
Touch oversold methinks, should rebound eventually.
I used to think like this with Shell, I only use premium unleaded and shell optimax/v power has always felt much better than bp ultimate. I now mainly use tesco 99 ron as cheaper.
Sold out the other day at 640, happy with profit but gonna hang around, waiting for hat sage Effix to tell me when I can jump back in...
