Since expressing my concern earlier, our SP has now dropped almost 4% further in spite of what appears to be an encouraging RNS. Maybe everyone is having a bad Friday?

Fair comments, in4 and John. I also thought, VanVan, that last January in suggesting a value of 2p by this coming Christmas as my price for staying in AAU I was being conservative. Quite frankly at this point in the year I don't think it's going to get there. Shares generally appear to focus in September after the summer recess. This one didn't.

I have always been impressed with Dr. Sener and his video presentations.Slick as they are, he has never touted a Jam Tomorrow certainty. The mine has truly sprouted from exploration to production. Regrettably we PIs have not tasted any fruit or experienced the multi-bagger oft forecasted by many on these discussion boards. The other side of the coin is that the bosses have not lived in comfort on borrowed money until their lenders snatched the company and investors went "down the pan".. as imho was the case with a helluva lot of minnow miners once listed under AIM (and some still listed and still "doing" it).

However I am faltering after what now seems many years of waiting and hoping for a profit. and especially in the light of some recent comments on the "other board". Hitherto it had simply never occurred to me that it was quite feasible that the BoD could pay back loans then borrow anew and expand into yet another mining operation and perhaps "up" salaries without handing anything back to loyal punters. Clearly this could go on ad infinitum and if there weren't divvis or bonus issues available to shareholders there would be little incentive for new money to come in. So the share price might not increase and some investors might trade away their holdings....but life will go on, management will personally prosper, there will be no bright lights to attract predatory takeovers and Ariana will stay very solvent.

So the bottom line has to be whether it is better to find pastures new and just get over one's chagrin at being in here for years instead of say Aldermore.....or , (John) ..... Carillion . oops.

We have an RNS which is very promising....and that's it....Promises,promises. I wonder how many of our fellow pi's are now thinking cash calls, dilutions, will the BoD be tempted to explore? Are potential investors sufficiently concerned that they would rather wait awhile than jump in and buy at at today's bargain basement? Basically Ariana has achieved production status but seems to be lauding its exploratory potential. Big mistake!.... and that's why our sp ain't rising. Until Christmas, then for me.

Steady on ,buddy, I consider myself a keyboard warrior (or perhaps even a troll) . I am rather in the warm at this time of the year (it's mid September and a blistering 110F the other side of my window) and my faithful old desk top (no-not the missus) is a bit too heavy to palm. I'm into bourbon-and-ginger or a nice cool "Pacifico" (I don't drink anything alcofrolic less than 5% volume!). Finally - yes my soft furnishings were recently replaced with La-Z-Boy.

Trump & Musk.? I don't trust either. They are more akin to circus folk - showmen and potentially putting on a show. for as long as they can stay on top. There will be many hurt by their actions....just wait and see. Anyway, coming back to Ariana - I guess there are quite a few folk like me, shareholders for many years, who are unhappy that things have not "sparkled". So they are having a real moan yet perhaps are scared that at this stage they could bail out only to find the sp immediately shoots up. What's a few more years wait until Salinbas magic materializes.? I need to see some improvement by next Christmas ' cos after 5 years I'm timing out otherwise.

Maybe a sound decision to postpone your Alfa until you are buying one from our Wild West, Alice Springs or maybe the Emirates.Sorry, but "Rust buckets" come to mind for that vintage.

I enjoy your posts and of course I have traveled on the Ffestiniog line and visited Stonehenge (yes I am aware the latter is in England!). All of which are about as natural for us this side of "the pond" as you folk making pilgrimages to Disney (Orlando or Anaheim - take ya pick according to how long a flight you want!).

The thing about Ariana which cannot really be aired by us shareholders is basically whether the private aspirations of the BoD can really accommodate all our own hopes of getting a lot richer. Put quite simply ....Do they care?

AIM is not for the faint-hearted and unfortunately there have been just too many Company Directors who have vented massive amounts of promise while purposefully lapping away at the trough as long as they could until the firm goes under. Regulating things on AIM is a joke. Caveat Emptor rules this this little planet

I don't think for one moment that Dr Sener has been feeding us all bs. But for whatever reason, investors don't seem to be clamoring to acquire shares and the sp has been sliding rather than moving upwards. That is a worry and so to some extent is the general effects of brexit, the Turkish (and British) currency and the activities of messrs Erdogan, Putin & Trump. We may have to wait a long time for Salinbas to perhaps "bring it on" for ourselves....if ever.

Either way I'm sick of hype, both individual and from clowns like The Fool or Brit Bulls****.

Finally....I agree Vanvan that the Fulvia was a great little car....but that steel tube under the rear of the driver's seat didn't do a lot for my rear on a long and undulating journey. Anyway for a real hairy ride we popped a 2 liter tuned Lancia/Fiat engine into the back end of a 1974 Skoda 110LS. Eat ya heart out, Dr Porsche ! (lmao)

Nice suggestion, Paul, but I've been years of expectations and lots of hype waiting for Ariana and I'm not sure that it will ever get there in my lifespan. Accordingly last Christmas I stated where the shares need to be by next Christmas for my continued interest and I re-iterated that again a few weeks ago. Far from improving, following publication of (successful) operations this year, the shares have slipped and the specter of dilution by raising money for further development always lurks imho. Right now, for me, the share price is at "evens". No loss but no profit. That's a lousy return after 5 years and a far cry from the 5p being touted a couple of years ago when the first pour was in sight.

Brexit ruminations are boring, Trump doings are just as boring, Ariana share price is unexciting so maybe talking cars has its affectionados. I drove a Capri 2.0 for three months in UK when my new Rover SD V8 locked its transmission after only 3 days and slewed across all three lanes and into the hard shoulder of he M3 en route to Heathrow. After 3 months British Leyland realized they were shelling out for the hire of a Ford from Hertz and promptly repaired the Rover. Unfortunately I found 22 other serious faults remaining and commenced proceedings accordingly. They settled with a full refund. My fondness for eurocars embraced Lancia Fulvia coupe, Beta HPE, Fiat Mirafiori and the last car I owned in Europe was a rather rare Thema Series III. Great car but only a handful of rhd got sold because of a squabble between Fiat and their Heron Group franchisee. We won't mention what climate does to "Mediterranean" cars but that's why you don't see new ones appearing on my side of the pond. The memories of Italian, French and especially Yugos are in our thoughts! (lol). The last 14 years have been V6 Ford Mustangs for me. No problems, super cheap running costs and lowish depreciation. The bad news is Ford have dropped their proven V6 for a ****y 4 pot "eco" and their V8 GT is around $40k. Rather opens the doors for GM or Dodge dunnit?

No dispute with your viewpoints, VanVan and everything looks great.....except the share price. Usually exploratory miners which make the grade into production very soon attract interest and sp starts to climb, often aided by enthusiastic "hype/ramping/whatever. Ours hasn't and yet, yourself and dic together with others have never faltered in your support. Even Kerim seems somewhat perplexed why our share price is not moving up. To me it's quite scary and I'm right out of ideas except that any form of dilution could lower the price still further and there could be a predator ready to pounce if such an occasion arose fairly soon.

So far the countries which Trump has targeted for tariff are hitting back very effectively right at the products of those US States which are mostly Republican controlled. BMW for instance are hinting they might move assembly to China - that'll take the silly grin off our Ambassador to the UN ,Nikki Haley, formerly Republican Governor of South Carolina (where the assembly plant is situated) . How the hell are superstores like Walmart going to re-stock their shelves?. We no longer manufacture the range of stuff they sell. Imported stuff will get tariffed, prices will rocket and my fellow Americans will be whingeing all the way to the Polling Booths.

All China has to do to really **** off Trump is to support Cousin Kim and supply anything and everything to North Korea ....and maybe Iran.....and Venezuela....and sooner or later the rest of the Americas after the recent change to the left in Mexico and upsetting Canada.

mick-b - . Gas(petrol) has a lot less tax applied here than in UK but there is quite a variation between States. For example Arizona generally is about $1 dollar cheaper per (US) gallon than neighboring California and around 50c less than my Nevada. South Carolina is cheaper still but across the stateline in North Carolina....ouch!

What has not been mentioned here recently (as far as I know) is the number of Kia and Hyundai (same horse-different jockey?) which seem to be "pouring"onto our roads. They are not going to get "tariffed" unless Trumpo switches off his lovematch with the peninsula.. imho my wife's Hyundai Azera knocks the **** out of similar Nissans, Toyotas, Lexus. There is just no way a European car dealer can compete with service/maintenance costs, reliability and warranty given. Unfortunately the Azera has just become extinct here as the Korean entity, although continuing it domestically as their "Grandeur" mode, are now favoring the Kia Cadenza,Stinger or the flagship Genesis to meet the US demand by those who prefer 6 (or even 8) "pots" under the hood (or bonnet in your speak!).
