RE: My post talking to swallow on ADVFN14 Mar 2019 22:54
VanVan - "Those who talk of 3p or 4p are way off the mark imo.". As you say = imo. At least I have stood up and taken ownership of my own opinion and, over time, expressed concerns about the various "surprises" we have experienced of falling share price here which followed actions by our own BoD. Now our MD has laid out a much clearer and very professional "road map" of where we could be going but my thoughts are that we have some way to go and there may be obstacles and difficulties en route. So no 20 bagger and not even a 10 bagger until the route is fully paved and signposted.
I can't help noting, VanVan, that you seem to put great faith in supporting your line with the outpourings of various other sources. Malcolm Pallee is current and you are also referencing "swallow" and other regular contributors to other Chats (stocks discussion boards). Swallow or more properly "swallowsfly south" is no stranger to me and you know that I have also contributed elsewhere and go back a long time, too.
So, if we go down memory lane we should take note of the case of Condor Gold (CNR) . On the face of it, it must be a winner. The mineralization was Initially evaluated by Soviet geologists and, the current Company has since proved the deposits to be far in excess of the original estimates. It was soon hailed as the next big multi bagger
and, indeed rapidly shot up in two years to peak at nearly 110p in 2014. The MDs avowed intent was to cash in on his survey figures and sell out. Unfortunately no buyer came forward. One day it might happen but the shares are now 21p and an awful lot of punters went in just pre-peak because of the hype on these boards. Jubilee Metals (platinum) is another love story (JLP) and is still being "hyped" by its affectionados. A lot of people, many whom have invested their savings) have lost much , or some cases all, on such investment. I have learned the hard way and yet still make mistakes but one is courting personal disaster by relying on the various tipsters on shares, many of whom are seen as financial savants whereas history has often proved them to be somewhat adrift in their prophesies.
Now we have your brexit and what a mess! Unless the EU tell ya'all to either get back in now or just bugger off and stay away...this will drag on and on as your lawmakers attempt to both have their trading cake and eat it. If you leave the club, mateys....ya don't get the benefits! Comprendez? Until this is resolved one way and another, your currency, your British Company share prices (and AAU is registered in UK) will remain somewhat distressed and so will your populace. It is even possible that we may not see much sign of upward sp movement this year.
Not surprisingly unlike yours, John, my glass is half empty. Maybe you can take cheer from that. However I have seen few reasons to explain why our Ariana share price has not really performed whereas those of peers such as Alamos and Greatland are hailed. Ho
