It seems Ariana has had a very positive week and I enjoyed all the comments on this board. We might get a further burst to our shares even though we are into summer. Sadly, more than I can say for the value of sterling (looks to me like Sir Keir Starmer is perhaps the most "in touch" in Westminster).

- it's a fair report (though I disagree with the author's conclusion about a 4 cylinder option and I achieved about 4 mpg more than his reckoning using its "econ" settings Our car is a rich metallic red with tan leather but no sun roof for us 'cos we'd soon cook ourselves in our climate.. Somewhat rare car though and a mere 3000 were sold in its last year of US import (2017). Still available in S.Korea but is called "Grandeur". So it's either shell out a lot more money to upgrade to a Genesis or possibly spend around $40 grand for the top Kia Stinger to stay with the same 3.3 liter six cylinder..

I have been "shouted down" here and elsewhere for pushing both the idea of dividends and/or "scrip issues" to shareholders of Ariana on the basis that the Company's available capital should only be used for paying loans or further development. Thus, I can only say "I have spoken !". Investing in stock can be risky and as such the rewards should be greater than fixed interest rates of banking or bonds.

Your second point, John, of a potential 10 year holding before production is achieved is relevant to me only in so far that I may not survive to spend the fruits of my gamble. So the prospect of a good return on my investment in the interim might motivate me to sell out (but 2p ain't far enough).

Having said that, in a few years' time it could be very clear whether Sirius will actually reach the finishing line or whether Ariana was the real thoroughbred all along..

Panmure Gordon, imho, are now linked to some "big predators". If there was the slightest sniff of a "hostile takeover" following any remarkable success, my guess is they would be the first to run with the hounds and sell us all down the river.

Meantime we have results from Salinbas and an AGM to keep the sp undulating through Summer. Speculate all you like but ultimately it will be good production and paying off loans which will drive everything upward at year's end.

I invested briefly in Sirius, John, but the time period and potential cost over so many years ultimately put me right off it and I sold up at slight profit (which I transferred here into Ariana). Soon afterwards SXX dropped heavily. In fact about 18 months ago there was a dearth of hyped miners and petros....AMC, MATD, JLP, Kefi to name but a few. I dabbled briefly...got out rapidly....and they all dropped. The two places I am wary of are Asia & Africa and the "setup" which really frightens me is Tesla. Good Night!.

Our share price will eventually get moved upwards by commercial success but my pessimism in suggesting a mere 3p perhaps by next year is based on "gloom" caused by Brexit (or Bremain if one prefers) and its dragging on, now exacerbated by a possible extension to 31 October which opens the doors to so many political and industrial ramifications for the United Kingdom which could seriously undermine the value of sterling. Add to this the very static POG (when so many savants were hyping its imminent upward trend) and I suppose the global concerns with the bullying and dictatorial attitude of our so-called "Leader of the Free World". Put this all together and it must have some damping effect on folk speculating and/or spending money on anything beyond their essential personal priorities at this time. Maybe we should be thinking positively to 2021 in every way.

Good interview. Dr Sener's words were precise and outlined exactly where the Company is going during this year and into 2020 when, imho, we shall be into a share price of 3p + by next Easter....or .maybe even sooner. I was particularly impressed that currently there is cash-in-hand to fund current projects. Money calls and thus dilution has always been my fear with "embryo miners" and I feel this stage is now history after at last getting into serious production. Well done, Team Ariana.

Yes, VanVan, Very interesting comments indeed from Pally and good independent insight to give us a real "feel" of the Company we are investing in.. I am somewhat curious though. You say that you know him very well and he has suggested (on ADVN board) that " We as a private investment group always like to visit our investments, if possible first hand, touch dirt so to speak". This would appear to indicate that he might be fulfilling the interests of several investors besides just himself in this Company which, again, is a good pointer to his opinions.

I guess I was wrong about reaching 2p again by Easter ( even though our sp did get there a little while ago). A slight drop today and we've just had a spate of good news from the Company .Looks like I'll have to concentrate my hopes on the shares reaching 3p by this time next year. The "flat" trading of summer is nigh.

LordofBurnley: " I choose to be an optimistic holder". Only way to go, milord and imho a far better proposition than buying physical bars. Bits of gold or jewellery could be useful to acquire food or bribe some "nasty" official if you were in dire straits due to civil unrest or a war zone but in "normal times" it is just another commodity which you buy to use in an industrial process or perhaps as a finished trinket or whatever. To purchase gold specie or bullion because somebody is hyping it to sell you the stuff (and make themselves profit) is an entirely different matter and is speculation - pure and simple. It hasn't exactly gone through the roof recently so far. What we are looking at here with Ariana is a mining company that appears to know what it is doing and can produce gold at a very competitive cost by comparison with its peers. In my view a far more likely way of making money for investors.

As to "something more sinister going on"..... maybe you need to research the Rothschilds over the years and some other factors like J P Morgan or Goldman Sucks (lol). They are the real "action" across this globe and can stake, make or break any regime.

ClaretandBlue - I know Lancashire fairly well because I had an aunt who had an apartment overlooking Southport's Marine Lake. A couple of times we went for Sunday lunch to the Moorcock Inn at Clitheroe and once I was taken fishing for, I think chubb, somewhere in the Trough of Bowland (River Ribble ?). I caught one but was told they are not really edible! That was a long,long time ago and I'd just about forgotten . We have bigger chubb (of course!) over here but I certainly don't rate them either for eating quality. Stripers (bass) are much better.

I'm not a fan of Budweiser or any of our domestic gnats-pee stuff. My preference is a higher specific "oomph"
say 8% or better. Anchor Steam Brewery and Sierra Nevada get nearer my mark but I do enjoy a nice cool true draft Pacifico or Modelo which ,mi señor, can be easily sourced in my locality, . Never been introduced to Holdens or Moorhouse products but I enjoyed both the Smiths (Tadcaster breweries) and I have been fortunate to occasionally find a few cans in Las Vegas of Abbott Ale (Bury St Edmunds) from time to time. Our State laws specifically prevent one from importing booze across our stateline and "Smokey" has been known to lie in wait for incoming Californians

This stock has been excessively hyped ( but seemingly not without reason from the now more frequent info from our BoD) except that now we wait. As for the world's problems - the short answer to that is "what goes around comes around" and I don't see you with a magic wand.

I'm not into "filtering" or, as I refer to it..."blocking", john. It's far more fun to let a guy down the hole keep his shovel and watch the mutt carry on digging. I'm a little disappointed that our AAU sp hasn't moved after the NYSE (and sterling) generally climbing today...but then most Nevada mining stocks haven't moved either and the gold price is slightly down as well. Summer is coming so I reckon things are just going to mark time 'til Fall (that's autumn over your way). In the desert we don't have Fall and the nasties which bite or sting just hide for the winter.
