William Shatner (aka Captain Kirk of Startrek) in real life has obtained a restraining order against the "Shemsky"actor coming within 500 feet of him.

We're done on here with such a buffoon who has chosen to use this same name as his moniker. I got it right from the start when I invited this piece of excrement to "foxtrot oscar" somewhere else than here.

I'm gonna try to put this to bed. I've looked at four chat boards where our "Subject" has been posting and probably (or is that possibly?) invested. Thus we have FLX and ECSC for starters and In the last year these companies' sp have sunk around 50% and 30% respectively. His third choice, ECSC, has done very well over the last year and in fact jumped 10% in the last week. It seems that the firm has secured a lucrative 3 year contract in the USA. However if the said "subject" has been a long term holder it would be relevant to point out that the current share price has managed to rise again to the same point where it was about 5 years ago. Big Deal! (as was said.....NOT) . I'm also guessing a good short term investment in SHG might have created the opportunity to boast....always provided our feller got out before its recent sharp drop. Anyway as always...dyor folks.

My own portfolio investment of GFM has fallen in the last year but over 5 years I am way way ahead. More recent dabblings sees Sandstorm Gold up 60% since I invested earlier this year and Controladora Vuela Cia de Aviacion ( kinda Ryanair on tequila) returned me 110% from investing last January to selling off last month (to raise capital to buy more AAU on a dip). Admittedly my bank shares have had a wobbly ride this last year. My Bank of America Corp are 10% up but my Lloyds and my Spanish BBVA are both about 15% down (although both have meanwhile returned me reasonable dividends).

What I am trying to indicate is that I have a pretty good track record in stocks and have been a regular poster (internationally) on several chat boards. I can quickly spot a "bee-esser" when I see one and I am noting a very similar pattern appearing on a number of LSE boards. Our AAU Chat is generally quite civil and welcoming but If one likes the thrill of the chase and wants to hurl excrement about then I respectfully suggest a visit to say LLOY or BARC. In fact a move over to ADVFN's Chats will give an even greater variety of mud-slinging. Or stay here and just be nice. Your choice, dude.

John - Hostility? Surely not. I'm 'avin'a larf (as you folk over the pond say). I just love to wind up trolls or anyone who tries to get up peoples' noses. There is a difference between genuine ignorance of the situation/someone seeking guidance and going out to foment aggravation. On these boards it's all too easy to be the next best thing to Aristotle or even Achilles when in reality our "hero" is a kinda mini-me Napoleonic dwarf. I'm quite "worldly" through the University of Life, retired and with time on my hands (especially in winter) so if need be I'll play silly sugars all day. However it cannot last indefinitely because others will eventually become exasperated and call for an end. Perhaps the board's moderators might even do some "filtering" of their own. Suffice that my own level of patience is fairly extensive.

Anyway, it's Weekend and for a change Goldman Sachs don't appear to have screwed up the NYSE (or LSE). Our sp is up slightly and sterling is holding up. You've even got a couple of hours of Live Entertainment on BBC question time....so enjoy (just like I'm enjoying every bit of our own Impeachment thing. The rats are jumping off in all directions! Above all, john, don't worry - you will be well ahead of the game by next Spring....even if Corbyn is your PM and (C&B) Portsmouth FC tops the league! Eat, drink and get p*$$ed.

I've made lots of forecasts on here and they've all come about. You can take my word for that. I'm not just clever... I'm absolutely effing brilliant. Everyone on here already knows that but they are keeping to themselves in case it causes me to get carried away with an inflated ego. That sometimes happens with Americans.

Additionally, I can boast anytime that I've made a lot of money by just researching shares that have spectacularly risen in value and then telling everyone I had pre-invested in them. So....if you feel like proving your statement... just identify your real name and your broker account and you can bet your sweet elbow that we can check you out .

Now be a good troll, tanker, dosser, ducker or whatever rudely rhymes and go test your running skills back and forth across the M1. Adios amigo!

Evening yourself, john. It's early hours Thursday now over here and the rain has petered out. We were warned of Flash Flooding but it turned out to be a steady downpour which gets absorbed rather than run off into what we call "washes" (dry gulleys) most of the year. We're forecasted more showers at the end of next week. Our daytime temps have dived somewhat down into the mid-60sF and next week will see us in the 50sF.....and to think it was still hitting 100F at the end of last month.
In our winter the temp drops 20F as soon as the sun goes down and is coldest just before dawn.

I see our sp has climbed just after your opening but I still think it's gonna be a roller ride for a few months. But ASH has imho pretty well nailed the likely future path of the Company and I think we will come out comfortably with a good return on our investment. AIM right now is riddled with firms that were tipped for high returns a year ago and they have taken real whacks. Yet their loyal adherents are still ramping. At random, just look at the track record of say Petromatad or Amur Minerals. Range Resources is damn near finished and Herencia is about kaput. These were all bright stars once but the difference is Ariana has successfully started earning money and paying off its debts.

I exited long ago from anything African, CIS and Central American. As you say, guys, on the surface Turkey is not especially "dangerous" but it could get a rough ride if Erdogan seriously upset the political applecart of any (or several) of the constituent countries of G-20. It should also be remembered that Turkey has a strong military and islamic undercurrent which can emerge too.

There is indeed a great deal positive in this latest RNS. But we PIs in Ariana are relatively few in number and the Market is influenced by greater happenings. I reiterate my view that we are on a rollercoaster ride until after Brexit and your next Government finds the best route for ya'all. Until then our sp will slowly droop during periods of no news and recover again when Kerim releases glimpses of the rainbow to come. It's all about production and cash...that's what will make things fly. For me it boils down to - When?

Paul1D ...Sounds about right and I've recently got into royalties (in my case Sandstorm Gold) which, most unusually for me, immediately went up! Anyway as a rather light-hearted look at "minnow mining" and a video which gives ya'all an idea of my part of the world here's some entertainment. Yes...like the author I am invested here ,albeit 50% down on my initial gamble 2 years ago, ...but I can hope the future is brighter. You follow at your peril my friends...I'm not pushing this so dyor.

You're right, john, I don't! No matter...the apology was a nice touch. I bought into KEFI about a year ago and bought out...quick (because my research analysts warned me off). It does seem to me that Kerim has tentacles out into many miners which is hardly surprising given his professional competence but I just feel that Cyprus may not be on his current list of priorities - unless he has spotted a potential bargain grab.

Yer Parliament has blown itself up, ASH...at least until next month! Now if only tRumpo would resign and his Taliban VP too.

Paul1D - 3p by year end would be nice although I was forecasting by next Easter. Either way I hope our sp will not fall sub 2p anymore. I've noticed (elsewhere) there is some ramping of gold price towards $1650 plus but I think it ain't gonna happen and in any event M20ASH has taken, imho, a conservative approach to all his great calculation. Obviously next year could have some very "changing events" on both sides of the Atlantic and hopefully more stability and calm in the Middle East.
Sorry about the rugger results but nevertheless ya got very close which in itself is an excellent achievement.

All is quiet here....except our sp is up nearly up 20% - look at the chart.
