Well, Paul-280i, earlier last year I had hoped for 3p by Christmas but I chickened out in the Summer and changed my forecast to this Spring/Easter. Well.....Spring is almost here in Southern Nevada - Sunday we should warm to 74F again and I see blooms on my bougainvillea shrub.

All this talk of divvis , ASH, and tax exemptions......we're not that lucky. Our IRS classifies dividends either as Qualified or Unqualified , depending on whether the Company readily trades on a US stock exchange. Ariana doesn't so I will get fully taxed on what I might receive. Your capital gains allowances are more generous, but overall we pay a lot less personal tax this side of the pond.

Basically, Deano, because you are a nasty sort of character and very, very much a weirdo. The way you make childish remarks in quotes - your rather specialized choice of music, films - the way you "snipe" at me and others - the way you wish to ponder over my age and ultimate passing away - the way you indicate you are ready to sexually engage with persons' wives/daughters. So I've been poking you somewhat, trying to ascertain just how many sandwiches short of a picnic you really are. Regular "normal" folk don't behave like you. I am still involved in and have spent too many years in Law Enforcement not to recognize you are rather "unusual" and I'm quite sure your full curriculum vitae might be quite revealing. Paul1D - You talk in riddles/conundrums/whatever and the bottom line is much of the time it's alien and nonsensical to me and I don't entirely understand you....so just give it up , dear fellow, 'cos we're poles apart. Anyway - for what it's worth...

(a)Trump: Boris Johnson once said of him "a quite stupefying ignorance that makes him, frankly, unfit to hold the office of president of the United States.”

(b) Boris Johnson : has been recently criticized by your Sir Keir Starmer (possibly your next PM?) as "man of no principles and no moral compass, who will go anywhere to stay in power".

(c) Brexit : Ursula von der Leyen (President of the European Commission) has suggested that the UK and the EU will remain the "best of friends" but they will "not be as close as before" after Brexit and she further warned it would be "impossible" to reach a comprehensive trade deal by the end of 2020. That would rather seem at odds with Boris' timeline.

The value of sterling has just dropped again and UK banks' share price is tumbling. Let's review this (and Ariana's share price) next January 2021,please Paul. I'm guessing most folk on this board have had enough of Brexit argument last year.

Moneymaker - I got "howled down" on here 18 months ago when I suggested that a small divvi would help our share price and reward longterm investors.!

Paul 1D ..my wife has a Hyundai Azera , which will probably be changed for a Genesis in due course......and yes, John, I'm thinking another Mustang, not customized though ... a V8 GT but with Premium options.

Incidentally, Paul, ....since you mentioned Sandstorm Gold....their shares increased 50% in the last year.

Good thinking, Moneymaker, but I reckon you're pushing it for 10p. My guess would be 5p sometime next year to compliment my last Easter forecast of 2p and this coming Easter of 3p. I have said I might revise my forecast according to how soon our sp reaches 3p but 5p would see me very satisfied and my trusty "pony" replaced with new (after 10 years tlc).

Good luck with that wish,john...I sold my Sirius just 2 years ago (at profit) for 25p ......and bought more Ariana ! After that they really tumbled.

Olderrrrrrr cynic if you please , john but not miserable coz gold price up, AAU sp up, so all I need is sterling up!

With respect, n3m3sis187, many of us here have read and understood Mining Maven's recent report but of course it is at best"journalism" and, as investors , we have also had the benefit of hearing (and questioning) Ariana.

Patience is fine but we have been waiting several years for an AIM -listed company ( which can often be fraught with more risk) to morph into a multi-bagger . Just when everything seemed on course the game has changed with a new entity taking a big slice which appears to be placing Ariana into a somewhat minority position. Hopefully more details will emerge soon but right now there is concern and that 30pc increase in share price (quoted on page 13 of the Mining Maven Report) soon drained down again....most probably due to that same level of concern.

In 3 hours or so we'll find out if either the gold price or Trump has any immediate effect on our fortunes.

Meantime, Ash...thanks for your comment. I diversified last October but I wanted to retain my AAU for the present (which I will review according to how quickly our sp reaches 3p). I funded that diversification (into gold royalties) by selling off my Spanish bank share portfolio coz the señors tax me on dividend payouts.

I am concerned that part of my previous response could be misinterpreted whereby I commented " we might have a "lifestyle" situation here ". By the use of the word "here" I was referring specifically to the direction some other AIM-listed Companies may have been taken (imho of course) and it now behooves me to clarify that I was most definitely not casting any such aspersions upon Ariana.

Very interesting, Willowman. I don't think KEFI has performed particularly well, imho, under "Harry" aka Aristidis Eleftherios Anagnostaras-Adams and, John, you could do worse than to read some of the recent comments under our Chatboard here for KEFI. Here is a bit about EMED's ancestry : https://www.eastmedminerals.com/about/history. I suggest you need to consider how both Emed & Kefi share price has tumbled over the last year. It is equally interesting that some of the principal "officers" are from the same family. Clearly Willowman is most concerned and it does seem to me that we might have a "lifestyle" situation here for which some companies in the past have created anguish for investors and a bad reputation for AIM. So DYOR.

Finally, you may of course remember that Dr K recently acquired some "assets" from Kefi so he might well have gained some advantage thereby but I think Willowman may know (or have experienced) a lot more than has been said. On a personal note, I don't want to get into Cypriot (or Greek stocks) any more than I want to invest in African or Eastern stuff and that same whiff mentioned by Willowman will send me jumping ship too.

According to LSE Share Trade Listings for to-day (Dec 27), A little over 5 million (Yes - 5mil !) of our AAU shares were sold at 11.35am. I didn't realize X had that many. Even to make a profit it rather goes against all the forecasts of us being in the money soon with this proposed "buy-in" or whatever. Is there cause for concern by we PIs?

Massive (for AAU) share trading today and sp up 10%. Somebody knows something and the cat's outta the bag?

Your viewpoint " As for myself the JV is the way forward, I am retired and would rather see a more immediate return so I can enjoy life even if that means my son won’t get such a large inheritance" is clearly shared by Paul-280i and redimp2. I want to add my own support , reinforced by exactly the same wisdom as your offered Pros & Cons.
