I can't download the RNS info about the Commitment by Ozaltin Holdings AS (the MOU we've been awaiting) . LSE is saying the page is no longer available but all the details are visible on ADVFN website.

You missed selling out last Thursday and buying back in yesterday and making a few bucks while everyone, including me, was awaiting confirmation of the MoU deal or some reason for further delay. This RNS announcement was lacking the word "pleased" which has been the usual feature of all the recent goody news. But not many folk have jumped in to buy on a 7% reduction in our sp either. Maybe this was not the expected news and some investors have got a shock. I think it could rock this current roller coaster still more unless we get firm news either way on the MOU.

Hello ASH. I'm not laying odds as such...but I suggested around last Christmas that our SP was going to be a roller coaster without some major event actually taking place and I guess the wait is getting to me. Your reply, my friend, is just too guarded....it's kinda "on the one hand - but on the other hand". Presumably if you bet on the gee-gees it would also be on an "each way basis" too ?

I am rather disappointed that so far only Moneymaker has been quite specific in his forecast and comment. (which I much appreciate).

Sterling has gone down this last week, there is no sure vaccine or cure for the virus yet and AAU share trading has been about equal sales & buys recently. We need some sparkle...so

If we hear next week that the MOU is definitely on - AAU share price will go up immediately to 5p. If we hear there is no deal then the share price will fall to 3.5p.

Sounds about right RD2U. Some of those "refugees" from www.iii also post on ADVFN. I have used Selftrade,now Equiniti, for my share trading because its original French control accepted US residents/nationals. Most Brit brokers won't. Once upon a time I used Barclays but they summarily ejected me, together with my Barclaycard credit card, when they discovered, imho, that Uncle Sam would require them to conform to certain administrative requirements if they dealt with US citizens. I also use Ameritrade...but they don't offer some "foreign" shares (like AAU) to investors.

Clearly, imho, something has really "spooked" our SP in order for it to rise considerably by over 7%. Lately, positive info from Kerim plus increased gold values has generally staved off AAU price falls in the face of worldwide economy worries and concerns about Covid-19 but what the heck has motivated this climb to over 4 pence? There's been no "surprise" RNS
or announcement by the MoU teams. Could there be a leak or whatever? Tuesday's market re-opening or even next week may supply the answer.

Pompeo is already scared that he could cop the next heat-seeking missile from Trump's bum. (it's probably propelled by Hydroxychloroquine)

The airline has been flying and the industry must be encouraged by budget airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair bringing aircraft back into service. In Mexico the alternative is long-distance bus transport which may not be too healthy in the present situation

Hi ASH. A most enjoyable posting and clearly you must be pleasantly dreaming right now of your new Bentley if you've seriously dabbled in AVCT. I'd never heard of the firm until you just mentioned it but looking at their chart history you must really have "The Midas touch". Hummingbird , though, may or not be so spectacular ...but for myself (as I've oft posted) I'd rather keep out of the Dark Continent. However I can't help contrasting all those hundreds of posts to day on AVCT with say NYSE=VRLS (or 013G here, better sought as "Controladora Vu") where I am a very lonely sole blogger...just six times since Autumn 2018. Norville - I wasn't aware that you've held Condor that long so I apologize for suggesting you "suck eggs". At least they are in the Americas which imho is preferable to E. Asia or Africa. Just be ready for some production expenses and perhaps placements/dilution if there are no buyers very soon. Norville - That's exactly what the CNR investors thought 10 years ago. Jim Mellon is still deeply involved with Condor. But there was no production and no takeover...just lots of holes and ongoing administrative costs which had to be financed. There were many similar (sad) tales right across AIM.

As a shareholder of Sandstorm I did wonder about the future new partner perhaps being Lidya (and clearly RD2U had similar thought) but Kerim's response to you " The proposed new partner is quite a different entity to Eldorado, with different objectives. They do not have current mining interests" would appear to have clarified that speculation.
