The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Does anyone know what's happening here? ,are we suspended again.
Really sorry to hear that DUFC, you are right there are definitely worse situations to be in,what has happened here has left a bitter taste for a lot of people and blame is a natural reaction, but i have to say that as in all very large construction projects the risks were bigger than most people realized,i hope and pray your situation resolves itself.
Yes i have been in the construction industry all my life and its obvious all the so called experts here have never been near it,didn't come here for an argument as i really do wish all good luck but after the optimistic transportation idea i said no.
Alan i was here same time as you when the only risk for me was planning,i'm in the construction industry and when the tunnel was to be the only means of transportation of the product to customers i knew it was time to go,I've never changed my mind, finance was a secondary risk.
Well I've heard it all now,we've seen optimistic days pessimistic days and now a revelation of not even being invested, why keep describing it as a nightmare? Some people including myself have previously posted about feeling sorry for him,is he just winding people up?
Who's he calling dim hex ?i used to watch countdown when Carol vorderman was on,i got aroused ,seven letters, that's good.
Maybe Dougal bought some more and has taken up origami.
Yes really good news today,it seems a long time since the stratmin days but could turn into something special, hope so anyway.
JR,a dog riding a bike on a roof, sounds interesting to me.
No I've nothing in there was in in the very early days when the only risk was obtaining planning, being in the construction industry all my life it's too risky for me,the risk wasn't only on the finance but no one could predict the eventual cost of an underground operation on the scale of that, still read it now and then but it's obvious most people on there have limited knowledge of construction and I'm really sorry to say it seems to have cost a lot of people their savings, but you never know what's around the corner, good luck with your investing i've only got this now so it's wait and see here.
Hey aerial haven't seen you at compost corner for a while, hope you didn't have too much interest in there.
As someone also who has also worked in the construction industry all my life the only person talking any sense on here with a realistic point of view is longterminer, most of the rest of you are daydreamers.
Jimmy,if you're old enough you'll remember what the miners, dockers, lorry drivers etc did to this country, brought it to its knees,,someone had to sort it out.
What's your surname head? only joking.
High aerial,it's denia from EDL wow you don't half buy some compost.
Maybe FSA15 is the buyer? Must have dropped and broken his piggy bank and realized he had a bit more than he thought.
Hi all,I've been reading this with interest for what seems like a very long time,it's obvious to me that a lot of the so called experts offering advice have never been anywhere near the construction industry,i was invested here in the early days but have never felt the need to return, all the talk at the moment obviously is the risk on finance, but anyone who works on any form of construction as i have all my life will tell you the ground works are the most unpredictable and no one can give an anywhere near fixed price for this as you never know what you are going to come across and for me this is the big risk here, this is not in any way advice but please think carefully what you are doing.
I'm sorry dougal and i don't mean to be rude but you sound like a robot.
Someone mentioned last night that they had £150,000 pounds worth of shares and he is as cool as a cucumber,If he's not shi!!ing himself the chances are he's full of crap.
Reading here it's like a game of cluedo, what i can't understand is in business nothing marches forward faster than technology, how has a one man band who we think only works part time anyway managed to keep pace with that? And Amits fans here seems to be increasing, odd.
