No RNS and no baby as yet Ian, both expected shortly...
Cheers,
Dee
Good morning all, no sign of baby or red dot as yet but theres still time! If the share price is still this low next week I will be in a position to top up my holding by another 16% here. Keeping the faith while mad vlad continues with his tragic mission. Prayers with the people of Ulkraine.
Hopefully not too long a sail Tilly, my first baby is due in less than a month and it really really wants a palladium dummy!
Ian, can you put me down for 10th May please. Due date!

No reason given for walking away but hopefully the market will have more faith in Kier's turnaround and see a tick up in the SP. This interest in buying Tilbury did not make sense to me at this point in time, obviously AD seen something worth looking into.
Rare groove has obviously changed his position and his narrative. Anyone that has been here longer than 5 mins can read you like a cheap novel
Noone is happy with this sitaution but given the tone of your statement do you expect people who have invested in this company for years to just say. Oh yeah, *******s got a point. Lets sell our shares at a loss even though the company has stated via RNS that the conflicts do not affect their strategy. F**k right off
I thought 2022 would be a decent year for Kier, more so in Q3/4. Time will tell but you could well be right Sadan
There is a lot of crying on here about the length of time taken for this deal to materialise. I feel your pain, believe me. Imagine your a buyer/consortium that wants to buy a company with a shedload of materials in the ground that the world is scrambling for. You do your DD and you think sweet, lets be having you! But while you have been crunching the numbers, said company turns round and goes by the way, weve a shedload of materials in this other spot too. How do you like that? Hmmmmm, youve moved the goalposts but I really am drooling at the mouth here. Let me get my massive calculator out and come back to you. In the meantime your competitor gets wind of whats going on and of course want it, adds a zero. Suddenly your massive calculator doesnt have enough digits on it. You have to commission a new calculator to made to calculate your counter offer. Then of course you have the Asians, who you bought the calculator off... They have a better one with a bigger number. So you have to go see your mates to see if they will chip in with you to beat that offer. And it continues. This is shaping up to be the biggest deal on aim ever, the BOD wont be rushed, we may be frustrated but if anyone here has more shares than the BOD I might pay attention to your point of view, otherwise put the feet up and try to relax.
First time Ive heard trustpilot mentioned on a share board so curiosity got the better of me. The majority of those complaints actually refer to Kier Living which has been sold FYI. Also, a couple of disgruntled ex employees, looking at you stinkley...
Licences and bidding war instantly come to mind Monty. Maximising shareholder value as mentioned in many an RNS
Just got a chuckle out of my pregnant wife lol
Yes it really is dragging on, clarity would be nice but its not there so MM's will fleece weak hands. Im a stubborn SOB and holding to the end. Well further, as I will be happy to take my dividend and leave my shares in EUA2. Most likely investing some profits after treats. 0.2252 average.
Any thoughts on when we will receive an update on WK? I wonder how they are getting on with the dragline
I agree Epic, though AD is a cautious and sensible man. He knows this and I cannot see him wanting to tarnish his reputation by remaking mistakes made by previous Kier management. If he thinks it is a good move that's good enough for me.
I don't think they need to make an acquisition in the same space but the newly streamlined version of Tilbury must strengthen the business and help gain a larger market share otherwise I don't think AD would even consider it. If Kier can increase their turnover while continuing to cherry pick good work then it has to be seen as a positive. I suspect there are a lot of sceptics sitting on the fence over this one.
I see the Pendal Group are happy to take shares from weak hands. Cheap at this price
Wouldnt take much heed from them. They say EUA's fair value SP is over £45! I wish lol
Created an account just to spout rubbish, jog on!
Thanks for the tip Kevin, will get on that now!
looking forward to it Matty!
Thanks for the reply Matty! Id heard there were some drill results due so thought id take a punt. Have kept an eye on GGP for about 18 months now but havent really been on this board since I sold out a year or so ago. I have been reading some of the discussions between share price and asset value. Clearly GGP is a great company and I hope to invest more in the future.
