Last month we received news on Project Sunrise, Rolls-Royce picked up the order for 12 engines from Qantas for the Airbus A350.

Rolls-Royce is careful about forecasts, but it expects revenues to grow in the low double-digit range and operating margin in the high single-digits in 2022.
If these engines are successful then we should see more orders on the back of it from Quantas or other players.
Results in August should include it.

It was his opinion, who cares if it’s not 40% as long as we see progress, we all agree that RR are heading in the right direction, the decline in the share price has is down to COVID, market manipulation and the pace that the airline recovery has taken to get back into the skies. The debt will be managed very soon with the ITP Aero sale and share buy back., this together with new orders will be a game changer. Very soon news will be released on the new CEO, his role will be to steer the company to being profitable, increase revenue and a dividend which will bring back RR to a position it should be.

Keep with it Mike, I’m with you on this one, 40% can be achieved under the current climate, not sure 1 st quarter but within the year max, more advanced defence systems would be logical way forward. Many countries will be increasing spending in defence, why wouldn’t there ? There are only limited companies who can supply the goods, RR being one of the main players.

Since COVID, RR have really impressed me, we are seeing press release’s each month, this clearly demonstrates that the company is on the right track. partnerships, new supply of engines, service support agreements, venturing into new technology, what is not to like!
I don’t see any other UK company making these strides in the current market. Well done RR.
RR is back in business on a big scale, it has reinvented itself with fresh ideas backed by talented people in the business. Many countries will want to use RR for everything, defence, power, aerospace etc etc etc.
I for one am glad I invested in RR, I love reading the press releases, great to see what is happening,
Investing in RR was the best decision I made, half year or full year results will prove this, with the share buyback proposed things look very rosy.
Expecting another press release very soon as we are in early June, this will continue for many months.

One thing that will be interesting, is how much RR can now command for support services, parts, new engines, etc etc. The cost for materials has increased massively as has engineers with specialised skills. There are only a few main players in this industry, demand will exceed supply which will drive RR into overdrive. Revenue should more then meet expectations and wake up institutions into pumping cash into a high revenue stable UK company. Just my opinion but recent events all stack heavily in RR favour. That’s without looking at what is coming in a few years.

Rolls-Royce’s next scheduled trading update is on August 4, 2022, when the company will publish its half year results.

Special Resolution in the AGM : Authority to purchase own shares.
This is a clear statement that RR intends to do this soon, my guess is that when the big bucks come in the debt will be paid quickly and shares mopped up to reduce amount available to the market which will automatically increase share price to deter any potential buyer to get it on the cheap.

The report confirms that this company is doing everything to bring in large revenue’s in the next 12-24 months. We are on the middle run of a ladder, all the foundation work is done. It is a matter of being patient, the rewards will be huge.

DUBAI (Reuters) -Emirates will take delivery of its first Airbus A350 in August 2024, the Dubai-based carrier’s chief operating officer was quoted as saying on Wednesday, which would be more than a year later than initially announced.
A representative for the Dubai-based airline confirmed the comments by COO Adel Al Redha published by Emirati newspaper Emarat Al Youm were accurate. Airbus did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Emirates was due to receive its first of 50 A350 jets in May 2023, the airline said when announcing the order in late 2019.
The airline’s president, Tim Clark, was quoted earlier this year as saying Emirates had told Airbus it would not take any A350s if they had surface problems like those reported by Qatar Airways.
Al Redha earlier on Wednesday told reporters that deliveries of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft Emirates had ordered were delayed by at least a year to 2024.
The U.S. planemaker has suspended deliveries of the wide-body jet due to structural flaws.

Back in March we heard that Airbus and Boeing both have started talks with Tata Group for Air India about an order for a raft of new jet planes
Air India, which is now owned by the Tatas, is looking at buying as many as 30 wide-body aircraft, said Rolls-Royce Holdings.

When will this be confirmed, RR need to communicate better to improve confidence and share price with orders now, not just new technology in the future that brings in nothing but costs a fortune

I put my faith in Rolls Royce to surprise everyone this year with a major deal, merger and positive results later in the year. JP Morgan did me a favour, another top up today. This company is not a one trick pony, research is the key, selling now is crazy. I have put everything I have in and happy to do so knowing that within 12 months the 80,205 shares I now own will be worth considerably more than I paid for them.

Many factors are maybe making this drive upwards now, finally seeing sense that this is undervalued. The recent agreements/deals that RR have published, deals yet signed but will soon be, snippet’s of world beating developments that are game changers are all contributing to investors, financial institution’s maybe thinking now is the time to back this global company

Things change rapidly, RR are a better company now after dealing with all past issues and splitting into 3 separate divisions. Plenty of news and research available, in my opinion government will also invest heavily in RR after the Ukraine. Another thing to remember is that demand for air cargo has skyrocketed since the COVID-19 pandemic. Companies have recognized the risk of shipping delays due to port congestion and supply chain issues, and many are starting to pay more to ship via air rather than land. The boom has prompted manufacturers to develop new freighter jets that are more fuel-efficient and cost-effective than current models, with both Airbus and Boeing announcing new cargo planes in recent months. A350F uses RR engines, once the new engine is released to manufacturers, we could see big revenue coming in

From what I read, it will bring huge benefits to both smaller long-haul planes which is increasing as is large cargo planes, both use vast amounts of fuel. The benefits are cleaner engines, less damage to the environment. Fuel saving of 25% per engine using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a clean substitute for fossil jet fuels.
