Ignore all negative comments on RR, the underweight rating from JP Morgan is a joke, we all know that, day traders may be disappointed that we didn’t get an increase yesterday, but guys like myself who are prepared to wait until 2024 don’t worry what the value is today.I am happy sitting back, reading updates on progress made each week, new orders, full order books for this year and next year on power systems, what’s not to like.The appointment of the CEO reinforces everything for me, looking forward to the hawk replacement in October, then we have the trading update in November that will include increased flying hours since June.

Watched the webcast presentation on the results yesterday, far better then just looking at numbers especially as the results were only up to June. Increased in flights only really started in April so couldn’t expect much more. Listening to what progress is being made fills me with confidence on a solid future

No one is losing unless you sell, stay with RR you will be glad you did in 12 months time.

Don’t worry about the share price this week, stay long term with RR wait for the following
1, Debt reduction
2, Less RR shares on the market
3, All the new technology announcements finalised and in build
4, Dividend to shareholders
5, CEO providing a clear path for increase in profits year on year

Great news before results. What we need now is for RR to build the profit pot up until end of the year to allow them to reduce debt and buy back x amount of shares, this reduction in shares on the market will then allow them to re-instate a decent dividend to shareholders. Once this is done the share value will result in an big increase in the share price

Innovation at it’s best RR ahead of others in this technology.

My view is that the results will be very positive next week, the market response will be the very minor unless we get some big news on partnership’s or a mega order together with some positive information on debt deduction .
October is a big one for me as the American decision is made on the hawk replacement

He is on a win win win situation, he gets a base salary of 1.25 million pounds and he will also be awarded two tranches of shares, each worth 3.75 million pounds.
He will want to reduce debt quickly to increase the share price and his share value which will be driven by results.

In September last year the shares were £1.40, in January this year the shares were £1.27, the debt hasn’t increased if anything the company is in a far better position. Only difference is external factors such as interest rate increased as has inflation, this together with the Ukraine war?
