So basically we know there is no more gold but if you lovely people could help us poor directors out with more money that would be nice as we spent the 3 million you gave us last month. Getting money out of a Scottish man hard enough , getting it out of a hole in the ground in Scotland near impossible.
Spent the day renewing car insurance, dlg £820 ,Churchill £680, aa £300, was even cheaper on comparison sites, how can dlg attract new custom when there prices are so crazy. I think it's some time in the next month or so they take on motibilty customers which they say will generate £500m of which £400m is covered by reinsurance, I think it's a 10 year contract, may be a larger company will take a look at dlg if price stays so low.
Can not see results being bad, as only 5 weeks ago very upbeat rns , with order book good and sales momentum positive going into new year, there does seem some strange share price moves on this up 5% one day down 5% another , probably mms playing around for quick profits, I will top up if drops another 5% .
I also managed to sell some last week during the spike at 298, did not catch the high, bought them back this morning at 280, I have noticed some days only 1k purchased on buy back when price around 290 as price starts to fall they increase volume, clever broker or just me being paranoid.
It must be great that all buy backs are wonderful for ordinary share holders, and the uneducated don't understand the market, after 45 years of dealing maybe I need to bang my head against the wall some more, over the years I have had good results on 7 company buybacks but more than double that of disastrous ones .
So one fund can buy all shares at £2.10, no Joe public, shares up to approx £3.50, fund dumps those shares at 3.50 , instead of equity pumped in being 350 million it's now only approx 150 million , not a bad way to take over if they are ,allegedly, I think it's called clever accounting.
Going to delist, go into news above.
Hi Troublesome, thanks for reply, wife not tested yet as not front line, expecting call up any day as most of her team have gone already, works with vulnerable children so hopping she does not get call, works central London very busy, she hopes to get tested this week.
Hi all, I just exchanged and completed on a property today, my solicitor said I could pull out if I wanted to, I did think about it for a few minutes then said no way, it may drop in price a little but it will then go up a little as always , how long this takes I don't care as I will be living there, yes shares are down by 50% or more but will recover some ground again over time, with all the doom and gloom, and terrible loss of lives we loved the house we have bought and hope it makes for a happy house for years to come, sitting at home with a glass of bubbly with my wife a nhs nurse.stay safe.
Another set of poor results, good luck to anyone still holding but I can only see this dropping like a stone , always sneak out bad news on Fridays.
