When the market realised there was a mining liscence app over SZ, towards the end of the stabdard app process (of 90 days) the, sp rose to over 2.6p on sentiment and the promise of revenue from the zinc. We are in the exact same position now with Ka****u. I hope we get a formal update of what this means to us in monetry value. SZ was $10m a year, ka****u is far bigger than SZ

News on our luansobe and Ka****u imminent to accelerate us onwards. Monetisation of both zinc and copper!!!

Ka****u is a huge asset. The one thing that put the brakes on SZ is it was close to residential houses. Like you say Analytical, Ka****u is pretty much wasteland from the satalite photos.

This could get really interesting for us. I'm really looking forward to the official update on what is going on

2 artisanal mining liscences have now been applied for over the top of our exploration liscence

This will mean monetisation from Zinc for us once the liscences are granted. The Cadastre seems to be approx 2.5 months behind updating the map. Apps went in Jan, but the map has only changed the last week or so

Official news must be round the corner of this. Exciting times!!

"Colin Bird Chairman & CEO said: "We are very pleased with the outcome of the Luansobe drill programme and the resultant tonnage and grade estimate in our maiden inferred resources. We will now continue the process of optimising a block model and open pit planning during the current quarter as a basis for engagement with potential contractors to quote for open pit mining. The timing of mining start-up will be subject to, amongst other matters, the ongoing feasibility assessment, completion of mining and processing agreements, along with necessary Project permitting."

Block model now received as per the last Luansobe interview on the Roast. Tick for step 1 completed on time. The notification of contractors can't be far away now.

Tomorrow everyone gets their ISA allowance re set for 2023/24 so it is likely to be the quietest trading day of the year today

I would definitely say so. The durations fit beginning of Q3. July also sees us with a high certainty of the 5.2m off glenover too

that's right M1p1. the next information we are looking for is notification of a 3rd part tender for mining Luansobe on our behalf.

final report from Addison Mining to be published any day now if we go by past performance by Addison with Starzinc (an asset we used to own)...... they took 56 days after the inferred resource estimate

once we have the above pieces of information we can then apply for a mining license which should take around 60 days if the process runs smoothly.

So we are still on for operations to start this half (the contractor can start the pre strip and stock pile without the license), then sale of Rock to JLP once the mining licenses is through and offtake agreement........all to be confirmed officially of course.

This sort of "behaviour " is brilliant for us. The Majors making plays to buy up Copper Assets with pretty much unlimited budgets. we just have to position ourselves to look attractive

An interesting read from Feb this year

Sandfire set to make its first Concentrate June this year. This will be a turning point for the company as they will have more focus on exploration and other assets such as our retained licenses for further purchase. the A4 expansion project will have its license submit by may this year injecting further cash draw down for Sandfire. with its main 2 assets on the KCB maturing, they will be onto the next and have cash in the bank to spend.

Cobre are aligning themselves with a huge cash raise to firm up their deposit with 10k meters of drilling due to complete later this year
Even the sale of khoemacau has been re aligned and pushed back to the second half of this year to align with Sandfires Finances

Sandfire has drilled a total of nine drillholes on the Okwa Project, two diamond drillholes and seven reverse circulation holes of which four were also subject to downhole EM geophysical surveys. This identified a magnetite-bearing intermediate to acid volcanic system with disseminated chalcopyrite mineralisation

Basically they have drilled and found copper. PL044/045 were not considered the front runners until now.

this must be what Colin was referring to in his interviews when he spoke about KCB and new ideas are coming up good (words to that affect)

bodes well for our $80m payout if a copper deposit is proved up. we at least know its there now on these PLS, its just how big? which his a very good step forwards
