RE: Shinganda & Technical Appointments7 Nov 2023 09:28
Well, the "Dark Horse" Shinganda coming through for us. It's always been a favourite of mine.
Snippet from today's RNS
"The most recent hole, SHDD017, sited less than 1km along strike from the Shinganda copper-gold prospect drilled last year, has intercepted an extensive interval of alteration and brecciation with associated copper mineralisation within the Shinganda Fault Splay system"
Snippet from 20th July 2022 RNS
"Assay results include 50.3m @ 1.53% Cu from 21m downhole depth in SHDD002, with a sub-interval of 7m @ 4.36% Cu, including 2.0m @ 11.31% Cu. Gold assays are awaited"
Google definitions:
chalcopyrite, or copper pyrite (CuFeS2),
Disseminated deposits are those in which the metal is evenly distributed in generally low concentrations throughout large masses of rock
Disseminated chalcopyrite is observed to replace mafic minerals, with estimates ranging between 1% to 2% by volume
We found copper 1km July last year, we drilled again and found more visible copper. It will be really interesting to see if there is some gold come from the assays. This is really looking like the IOCG (Iron Oxide Copper Gold) that Colin suspected
Come on!!
