I dont think it is that obvious. The strategy is to buy undervalued stocks, with a high yield. I went and checked the monthly factsheet - in November Nav was 2.20, December Nav 2.20 and today Nav is 2.20, so Trumps election, thus far has had little effect. I think the sentiment expressed below, is like saying that every stock on the S&P is over priced, which it is not.

Last fact sheet - india was 11%. China is still 25%. Should get a new fact sheet for January any day now.

I do agree that it feels a little uncomfortable when there is no NAV growth. I paid 236 for mine, so I feel like I have just had my equity back from the dividends, but assuming they can pull off another good year of 10% I should be quids in. I am happy to stick with it for now.

I keep an eye on EKF, but its nothing special, plenty of other small caps more compelling IMO. Not a fan of management here, or the fact he holds no stock. Rather invest along side a founder, not some flagging 25 year old company that a few insiders are playing games with whilst they wait for an exit - and who is to say it will ever come? Has anyone actually stopped to wonder, what moat EKF have with these machines? They never talk of development or innovation, so presume these electronic devices are becoming old hat now. EKF should not be on AIM IMO.

Yes agree. I did sell down on the day of the offer, but I added some back and happy to let it run. I didn't really read the results, but from the headlines it still sounds an ok investment any way. You have to be in it to win it.

NFG the same, infact I prefer it. Also cheaper to SB as less margin. (3.20 pp)

If you look at the form 8.3's you can see some asset managers are selling (Brooks). I doubt they are trading this with emotion, or speculating on whether a bid will or wont land. They are just asset managers and if they have redemptions to make, they will just sell. Especially as TIG is quite liquid due to the buy back. So I dont read much in to it personally.

All the BOD from TRIN and TXP are muppets - judging them on past performance. I wouldn't compare a sh**y resource company with a real tangible business like TIG. TRIN got a better offer IIRC.

There isnt much reason to close this short really is there. Nothing is going to happen until results now.

I think the second shorter is a bit ominous, they are taking on BlackRock's position. But may have been there already just under 0.5. Started a new spread bet, but going very slowly with all of these now. NFG looks good just from short closing.

Can really blame the company or Kestrel. We are on an open market. There just isnt any interest. I really hope they do the deal, I have so many other stocks I want to add money to. This is not a buy and hold market, companies therefore cannot be rewarded and neither can share holders.

Take it private. Save the listing fee and need to pay a dividend.

Bought a few back, just under 102. Not many, but seems decent at this level. I think it goes for 1.25p. Hopefully a few £100 profit for me!

Slight egg on face from IOM, as it gapped down 20% this morning, but I like that business. Investing in a pension ca be very forgiving! Did manage to buy the dip in the SB account on IOM. and adding slowly to NFG. Dont know if it is relevant but it is Saba capital who are short NFG, if you look they are increasing in every UK short that they have. But they have just lost 6 activist votes on investment trusts in the UK. Might they have wounds to go an lick. I have noticed DATA as a good company recently, but never taken a good look.

Fair dues. I was not expecting the timing of the TU, the content, probably more so. A lot of selling yesterday which is a bit disappointing. I have bought more today, got some under 50p. Trading in a pension, I have a longer time scale. If the company can pull through this, then its going to be worth several pounds in an upcycle.

I take encouragement that Atech is doing so well. The rest of the update is too backward looking to be of much use. Hopefully some directors buy and give us a bit more confidence.

I would expect this to go a bit lower I am afraid, judging from the chart. I cant see any reason to buy, or hold it for that matter. could drift down to 20p sorry to say.

I remember when the CEO and CFO took over from the other 2, who over leveraged the company. I had no idea that when they replaced the CFO, they picked someone who would be retiring a couple of years later. Seems like half a job to me.

I think this is worth watching closely, to see if this can start to spring some good news over the next year.

Yes Mtec has done really well, I missed out on that, as just wasnt brave enough to buy it down at 9p or whatever it was.

Anyone have an opinion on BSIF, another solar fund. I think its actually down more than this one. It went ExD today.
