18. Authority for the company to purchase its ordinary shares
Since this got approval at the AGM, Id like to see a buy back, especially if we go below the IPO price. The company has the cash, and Id rather see them do this, than individuals purchase share. This would benefit everybody.
The director sells were only to cover tax from exercising options - which is standard practice in the UK.
Sam Mudd, Chief Executive Officer, exercised options over a total of 181,257 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") under the BTG Performance Share Plan. Ms. Mudd then immediately disposed of 85,812 Ordinary Shares acquired under the exercises in order to meet the taxation arising on the exercises.
