Hi GS
I trust you had a good golfing weekend and had your fair share of gin (although I confess I don't know what your fair share of gin is ...............).
There is quite a few pluses in the accounts of WTG, listed below:-
Richard Rose is still there and Richard is an extremely experienced person (and I have a very high degree for his ability). Remember RR was the person who "stood up" to Rob Terry and "encouraged" RT to leave (and that took ba**s).
Mark Williams (FD) is also a very experienced FD (in my dim and distance pass I have worked with Mark Williams (I think the same one became of company 'match') and he will strive to do his best for Watchstone.
Plus David Currie - who introduced Richard Rose into Quindell and saw what RT was doing to Quindell.
And finally the company is still cash rich, although I do acknowledge this has fallen in the past 12 months.
Indro has made quite a few changes and closed some loss making division and now Watchstone is leaner and therefore a greater opportunity to kick on. As GS has already mentioned Quindell was a mess and quite possibly some people would "throw the towel in". But Richard R, Indro M, Mark W.
Nobody knows the final outcome of SGH & SFO, so these issues will "hamper" any future growth of Watchstone.
IMO the SFO decision will be "not in the public interests to proceed" but I do not have a crystal ball (pity).
SGH is beyond me.............. Therefore I can't comment.
I do think that with RR, MW, DC. Watchstone have a future, after the legacy issues have been resolved.
As an american would say "have a good day" and I mean that.
