Hi Lindoser,
not overly easy question to answer, but here goes...
my postings have no relevance of the club's view on WTG............
Basically the club do not discuss WTG anymore, for two reasons.
We hold 40 shares, therefore our value holding is in the region of £45, but of dealing costs in the instance would be £23 (I really don't want to talk about that as sore point), we (the club) would get £22 - so no point in selling. I am sure you get my drift.
The other reason is a "reminder of what can go wrong" and the need for better research. Our research in QPP was exceptionally poor, accepted by all.
Your second question "Does your investment retain shares that go right"
The short answer is yes, however we try to retain 20 companies within our portfolio, so we make take profits - as and when - we "find" another company for investment. There are companies we hold have been a long term
Of our portfolio about 40% is in FTSE 100, about 40% FTSE, about 7% All share and finally 3% AIM. WTG is about .07%.
You need to be a fly on the wall........................
