Hi all, Many, many thanks about all your advice re: mice in my loft and I am at the moment waging a war on various fronts. Just a little story, years ago I owned a house that backed onto a big field where the farmer grew wheat, and I had tenants (human ones) who always complained mice in the house. (what could I do I lived 30 miles away). However one day my tenants told me they had seen a RAT. I replied "well the mice had gone", they told me the mice had gone.............. I know that mice and rats won't live in the same house. Rats would eat baby mice. So a solution would be get a rat................ But no I am NOT getting a rat. ATB DAR

Hi Lindoser and AEM, I agree poison is cruel and everything you said about the stench is very true. So that is a no-no. I have previously used humane release, the only trouble I found is that I didn't check often enough, and then found a dead mouse. I didn't like the thought he/she died in agony. Compared to the vermin on the board of QPP my mice are sweet and lovable. Far more predicable and I don't think mice lied. Sorry I digress.

Hi AEM I can't understand your last posting and I am not going to try.................... so no need to explain Just off to the local garden center to get some poison for I have mice in my loft. These mice have managed to eat the oats on the traps I set (are mice that intelligent....). I agree many people in this world are insane. Pity some have influence and are considered leaders. I would not be surprised if Lord Howard resigned and moving his share to a personal account, therefore makes sense. The Conservative party were always confused of the identity of Michael Howard. Steven Hawkins doesn't drive. He can't he is 75 and is severely disabled and regrettably he cannot walk and is in a motorized wheelchair uses a voice box to speak Probably the finest thinker of our age. I just used one of his many quotes. Really brilliant man
