Gary. It it were me, then I probably would want to wait if most shareholders blame everything on the C.E.O. Perhaps some shareholders are being short sighted? Just saying! If you can't support your B.O.D. then invest elsewere. Good luck though Gary with whatever you are invested in.

Hello rob. Of course if vod could find a buyer who will pay way over the current sp that would be good. As for finding a new C.E.O. no point having a C.E.O. unless he/she is supported by the shareholders. Of course good management is crucial, but how do you know the falling sp is down to bad management, there are many possible reasons for that, that the management can't control without a magic wand. It may be that there is no one out there that can turn vod around, & it is just down to the market. Perhaps keeping Read would have been a better idea unless they knew they could find someone better?. I am not saying they should have kept him before I get accused of being a Read supporter, but It doesn't seem to have worked, does it? Whoever takes over will probably be very well paid, so no point complaining about that unless vod don't appoint a C.E.O. that might save save some money? You can't have it both ways. Hello Android. Nothing to do with buybacks, more to do with the banking crisis at the moment, not a good time to be heavely in debt,as vod is. I am not selling though, as I think vod can weather the storm. Lets hope E&, & others come back & buy more at this bargain sp price. Watch this space.

Android101. What you mean the sp has been shorted to source the buy backs? Please explain. The last buyback was at 95p, but the sp has continued to fall to 88p. The falling sp has nothing to do with the buybacks. Who is shorting, & why is it a scandal? Vod to the moon would be nice though! We live in hope.

Iggypop. Thank's for your post, & I take your point. However, If you read my post at 5.54 on Monday, it made no mention of Mikey, but was making a general point about the negativity on this forum. Mikey has claimed to have filtered me on many occasions anyway, so he shouldn't have a problem. I am a serious long term vodafone shareholder (more fool me perhaps) but I think constant, repetative, negative posts are pointless. Cheers & good luck.

Yes Mikey. I am a vod share holder, not a chip on their shoulder, ex employee , so I want the sp to rise, why wouldn't I? Get a life please? We all know you are an idiot already, so you don't need to come on here at 7.30am to prove it. Try a different forum, ex vod employee forum perhaps. This is for vod shareholders, not sad ex vod employees.
