The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
A fantastic week, I am so please for everybody that has held, joined and even for those day traders that have made a bit during the course of the week! I am however, most pleased for those that like myself last week acknowledge the SP was ridiculous, trusted the research, believed in the BOD and continued to buy!!!
despite now having an average to be proud of, I cant pretend to have been here from the early days, to the likes of Ohmni - well the F*** done, loving your work.
I suggest that all of us that are ‘FOR’ EUA now take the weekend off the BB and let the naysayers fade away, don’t bait or bite. UNLESS of course the mother of all RNS’s lands at 18:30, in which case we won’t need to kill them off with silence as I suspect we will never hear for them again.
Have a great weekend all
Morning All,
Buying everyday atm and reducing my average further.
Information remains unchanged and if anything the most recent RNS’s provide consistency and thus builds confidence. I was buying at 26p, so at 15/16’s it’s a straight forward decision, I’m not going to concern myself with who is short and who is not or panic that the SP is depressed I’m just going to hold what I have and top up responsibly - because the information has not changed and thus we just move closer to the final outcome.
*****ing and moaning that updates aren’t comprehensive is pointless, all updates have been consistent and have been as positive IMHO - again IMHO to have made a decision to sell based on any of the recent RNS’s could ‘only’ mean that those selling had not researched appropriately prior to purchasing in the first place.
GLA and have a great BHW.
Roger
Vaguely worded RNS? Have I missed one??
A BOD providing information during a period of negotiation is always going to be a little frustrating for the shareholders as a covering statement saying, “shhhhhh don’t tell anyone,” isn’t exactly plausible.
Chill out, the facts remain the fact, nothing changed and regardless of how quickly it would be nice to have it done, given the economic landscape it has not been a prolonged period.

GFD - I think its rather clear that Bill doesn't know what he thinks until you hit a return at him.
100% appreciate the gatekeeping that you are frankly awesome at, but, from the perspective of somebody reading in this is a battle you've already won, leave the dirty kids alone, you'll catch something .

Another positive day if you ask me, interest remains consistent with no credible negatives being identified by the hand pumps and all of the positive traction built up over the past few years remains as relevant as ever.
Feels to me like as the trading days go by the fish in the barrel are getting smaller and fewer, I suspect it wont now be to much longer until the barrel is empty and those that have refused to be manipulated start to see the SP move north.
It’s actually interesting to watch the gap between opinions narrow; if you read at a distance like I tend to and exclude all of the complete idiots (abusive meaningless content) - the gap in opinions over the last two months has massively reduced between those that research enough to consider themselves to be informed.
Previously it would have been almost impossible to describe a general consensus, but now ‘with a few obvious and angry exceptions’ I think that there is a decent LSE sized group that are realistic whilst also allowing themselves ‘and others’ to be hopeful that they might be pleasantly surprised - discussion in such times turns to necessary evil, Tax!
Huge thanks to JTMacs from me today. Difficult to catch up properly on the entire day as various deletions.
Think I will hang around a bit this evening.
lol, I simply thanked Mac4671 for a few enjoyable lunchtime links - dropped in for a quick catch up and the subject has been discussed to the point of absolute madness.
Billions, what are you talking about?!? This probably wont register with the masses, but, if you haven't done so already watch Jeremy Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime it is extremely funny and a light watch, all will enjoy!! Within the program there is a chap that builds JC's field boundary walls (Gerald), I am fairly sure this is Billions, obviously not relevant to his physical appearance, but, if you watch the show you will see what I mean.
if you cant be bothered to watch the entire show here is a clip;

Horse.mouth - I am not sure we disagree completely.
SP drives the 'entry' of a serious investor as they will create 'through research' a perception of value, SP then is no longer relevant to that individual until the point of sale - I admit an informed investor should have an exit plan, de-risk strategy etc, but, surly you would agreed that the informed investor in EUA is not looking at a sale in the mid 20's and thus the SP is irrelevant.
Its of course always nice to see a healthy number and to see blue, but, I have to be honest, as I have said previously, the SP being controlled has allowed me and many others to develop a better position over recent months, fingers crossed what ha been of benefit to me over the last few months is now working for somebody else.
The above point falls down for the get rich quick crew to whom the SP remains constantly relevant, but, that's because what they are doing in having a punt not placing an investment.
I am invested in EUA and I am serious about not losing money, an SP in the mid 20's isn't serious and therefore isn't relevant.
Jobrads - agreed
Macca - you never know!! To confirm you weren’t the sole reason for my rant just the final straw, nothing personal meant.
Hudson - true dat
1noise - I’m a dude but thanks for the positive comment, I felt telling him to visit a knocking shop if he wanted a quick transaction was a little graphic for the bb.
Morning All,
I kept clear of the comments yesterday as the reaction was expected, idiotic, Macca congrats you’ve hooked me!!
Yesterday’s RNS was ‘assuming the vote(s) went the way it did’ always going to happen so for those of us that backed the BOD this was a positive outcome.
Begging for updates and/or being upset when they aren’t delivered daily/weekly is ridiculous, furthermore, should more regular updates be produced I suspect that we would both lose trading advantage and also develop situations where suggested ‘hopes’ were not delivered - “do we not get enough of this in politics!” This is business if you want to ruin something before it’s ready, bake a chuffing cake and open the oven door half way through! As for begging for updates, grow up, this is business, the BOD are not sitting there thinking to themselves, “let’s hold off updating them just for $hits and Giggles!”
RNS’s and development of this company have followed a very positive trajectory for the longest period and at present there is nothing being suggested or confirmed that the BOD are not looking out for the shareholder and/or negotiating the best deal for them and us (collectively the shareholders).
We all want a positive outcome but this is not a football season where X amount of games are played and then a winner is declared, roll on to the next season where we do it all again - the BOD are negotiating a multi billion £ company sale, everyone invested should want the best outcome not a quick outcome! And before someone says it been ages already NO IT HASN’T, consider the landscape before you consider the timeline that has elapsed!!!
The phase, “The SP is not relevant,” should be banned forever, as whilst I agree with it, I have now started to hear it in my sleep.
Rant over!x!
GLA
OSF Can’t believe you just brought up that result, I was almost over it…….
Happy to confirm me votes have been made
Positive end to the week please and then all genuine investors log off for the weekend so that the hand pumps can talk to themselves without us adding any fuel
GLA
TBOB - can’t say I’m at all surprised about this reaction, the same old naysayers piping the say old claptrap.
We all knew that this was going to be the next RNS and to be completely fair I actually think that the clarification within are slightly more than I was expecting.
I can’t get enough, hungry hippo style, munch chuffing munch!
Naff all has change since the last RNS apart from my average gets lower and we get closer to a banger win delivered by the BOD!!
I hope some took my advice and had the BHW off the bb’s, I took an extra day off before returning today.
Mac4671 - you will never grind them down not until the big day anyway, but, love the fact you keep punching!!! Great consistency in the way you write.
Gut feeling ‘only’ but this evening is the one, finger crossed, I’ve had a few G&T’s in the sunshine so this could be more than slightly influenced lol.
Faith in this great BOD, if in doubt read the ‘facts’ back, not the bb’s it’s all there.
GLA
Had myself a little more theft today, average now well sub of 26p, - since before my first purchase in January’s I’ve been following the bread crumbs, reading and researching, it’s been emotional lol, but I’m now made up with my position.
My view has developed from initially having a 10p lost tolerance to where I am today, fully expecting to see a healthy (fat) profit and more than happy to continue to purchase at any price that below my current average.
My point being, if you have invested over the same time period you will have enjoyed the RNS’s in the same way that I have, ‘Yes’ initially I would have wanted a little more information, ‘but’ I see as my confidence builds in the BOD that there is a need to keep ones cards close to ones chest.
If you are a genuine investor having any doubt caused by the current SP and/or the naysayers that plague this bb I would suggest that you take the BHW as an opportunity to stay off of the bb’s and reading through all that has happened here over the last 12months and specifically in 2021.
Nobody saying anything positive or negative on this or any other bb knows anything more than the information that is available and easily accessible to us all.
If you want to sell, do it based on the same consistent level of research that you would do before purchasing, don’t sell simply because some handpump with an agenda spills some rubbish on a bb.
