I can't understand why AJ would stick it out for £25k a year, surely a geologist working in Victoria is worth 3 times that. It's not surprise that AH made him tech director. It does beg the question that why he hasn't left.

I agree with a lot of what you say rxdav. The majority of the bod are in it for a free ride but they'll be going nowhere. Who's going to vote them off the board? I'd love to get in touch with Colin to hear what he really thinks. Even if he did take the placing, his average is still above 1p. In 6 months time AH will have been in the job a year, lets see where we are then. You have to admit, getting a placing away with no discount is unheard off. So what were the subscribers told?

rxdav - does the market agree with anything? I've been investing for over 16 years and this is one of the worst markets I've sat through, but you know that. Good news is barely moves a stock whilst bad news can see a sp drop by 30%, so using the "market" as a barometer is red herring.

AH is the reason I invested here and why i'm still here. But I don't expect him to take our mcap to £250m. The guy is certainly ambitious, there's no doubt about it. He obviously saw something when taking the job, it certainly wasn't cash.

I'm not saying he has no ambition TS, i'm saying that at 50 odd years old he may not have to energy or desire to increase our MCAP by 31 x.

I work with a lot of driven Senior Managers Tamer, I'm one myself. He may be driven and he may have high hopes for ECR but taking a company from $8 to $250 takes a lot of time and energy and board support (which we don't have). There's no doubt he'll have the contacts but he can't do it alone and this has been my point along, the other board members with the exception of JA are useless.

There's been 10 x many buys has sells because there is one hell of a sell order sat in the background and thus it may only show the buys. My guess is it's Forrest selling/transferring to another party.

It's not a question of what he's achieved Tamer, it's a question of whether the can and wants to do it again. There is a misconception of investors thinking that because somebody has turned around a company once they can do it again. We don't know what his ambitions are, he's fairly long in the tooth and might want to slow down.

Well unless the geology's changed in the last 3 years then I'd say the results should be good but you never know. As for being boom or bust, I think the market has already decided it's bust.

We heard last week that Adam was on the ground at Creswick. It will all depend on how quickly they get the 2nd hole drilled at Bluemoon. No update on the 2nd rig but that was always going to be end of Feb anyway. Once both rigs are running combined with the quicker assays things should turn quickly here, however it will be April/May time before that kicks in. We may even get that one RNS a week that CB once promised.

I doubt there'll be any director buys anytime soon. I think Danglay will be on the market for a long time and whilst it is they can't buy. Sp wise, I think it's hit the bottom. The MM have been fishing for buyers for a few weeks and today they came at 70.

I find it bizzare that this board is normally pretty quiet with the same handful of posters yet within the space of a week we get an influx of new accounts all claming to be investors. Did you lot take the placing?

I agree Gino, although I do think they'll make some progress with Creswick this year. There's a danger here of spreading themselves too thin, they're now talking about Tambo. As for the SP, I think/hope this is the bottom. There appears to be good support at 0.65 and anybody selling here is taking a 25% loss from the recent placing.

I agree, it's been an absolute shower and heads need to roll for the failings over the last few years. You're right about the story, there isn't one. CB tried to create one and to be honest did a good job, it got the sp to 4p. Unfortunately it was a fairytale and the market eventually saw through it. All it needs here is the two rigs running and steady newsflow.

Rxdav - main market yes Aim market no. AIM market is driven by sentiment, basically if punters think they can make a quick buck then they'll buy. Sentiment accross the AIM market is on it's **** and most stocks are sat at lows. There is nothing holding it's value including companies that are turning a profit. That said this doesn't excuse the dire performance we've seen from the company over the last few years but that could quickly change.

When it comes to a placing yes Ocelot. Never say never but I would have thought if they going to raise they would have done it by now.
