I've slated ECR for their previous performance on multiple occasions and I agree that looking back the last 5 years have been an utter shi*show. They have spent an eyewatering amount of money and achieved sod all. If AH had not joined last year then I would say to avoid this company like the plague but he has and things have changed at the helm, so why look back. That's not to say we let them off the off and give them a free ride, I know Armani is in regular contact by email and giving them grief when they deserve it. There are still changes to be made, for example clearing the dead wood but we know that won't happen. The former CEO is no longer with us and we have a new leader, so there is little point bleating on about the last ten years when there as been a recent material change.

You're preaching to the converted Melville. This company has pi**ed excessive amounts of money up the wall over the years... why? Because CB knew Novum where at the end of the phone and in some cases knocking on the door. The equity markets are not what they were 5 years ago, you either control your cash or you go under. It's a simple as that. I'm not getting too excited about Creswick, we heard it about HR3 and we heard it about Bluemoon but this is exploration and if we don't look we can't expect to find gold. I'm as scarred as anybody but it's time to move on.

Great news!! We've also been promised quicker turnaround time from the labs and so with short holes we could start seeing some results within 2-3 weeks.

Not exactly Oktane, the short is still open. They had the opportunity to close at less than a penny but didn't. So, unless they have a cast iron guarantee that this ST has gone to belly up, I'd say that was a bit foolish.

Well it's 21m shares, all depends on what price they buy back at. I reckon their average is 1.80ish so there won't be much margin.

The majority of that short position was opened in November so I think it's fair to say their decision wasn't based on drilling. They increased again in December, again long before any results were known. The green brigade on here will have you believe their position is based on "inside information" on the drill. Their latest increase is them hedging their bets on a failed ST. If they had any inside information the last increase would have been substantially higher.

The booked flipped there. The ask was well stacked at 1.35 now 1.40 and thinning out. Todays price is irrelevant however.

I agree Baits. They wouldn't be hanging around with the rig if they had thrown in the towel. I remember watching the West Newton site being cleared off when the 1st UJO/RBD drill failed at it was cleared within hours. IF it has gone wrong then they have duty to inform the market quickly. I'm of the opinion now that no news is good news.

Is there a video Howey? I've had a quick look and compared the full pic against the video from a few weeks ago and there is little difference other than there is a load of drill pipe on the floor and that left in the rack appears to have taken on a paler colour. Could do with the footage really.
