The jury is still out Tamer, don't forget we heard that about Bluemoon. If those cores hadn't had been re assayed I don't think we would be going back to Creswick. This is a critical 3 - 6 months, the sp needs to rise because we know they will raise again to fund Hurricane. One thing we can expect is sustained newsflow which should start some momentum.

C1p2D - look through the AIM market and find 10 companies that are not sat near 52 wks lows. There are companies making considerable profit (profit!) that are below what they were before they started making it, ECR is no different. I'm not a ramper, far from it and I've made my feelings very clear about the past performance of the company but to use the SP has an indicator of progress is flawd. I appreciate that this is all we have to go on but in a market that is on it's ar*se is not a fair test. That said they BOD have still failed to find anything significant and questions need to start being asked of how competent the Geo team are. There is little reason to be punching the air here, the situation is dismal regardless of how Alan Green dresses it up BUT AH is undoing everything that CB put together (rightly of wrongly) and if anybody can give ECR a shot of life he can, the question is how long do you give him.

There's nothing in the price movement to suggest a placing at 1.25, it's drifting around naturally. If there was placing in the pipeline there would be a lot more than 3mm sat on the ask at 1.40, in fact it would be closer to 1.30.

This short isn't quite working out. They started with a 1.90 average which is probably now 1.60. Watching them trying to buy 20m shares back will be fun.

Daramuda, I take your point about Davenport however unless he's on the ground he's not been fully utilised and at 80 odd years old I doubt he's making regular trips to Oz. In my opinion AJ has been left on his own over the years and on 25k a year it's no suprise that results have been poor. I don't know how he's stuck it out to be honest knowing Tang is sat on his **** doing FA whilst he works in 50 degree heat slogging his balls off. I hope AH is giving him the support he needs.

I for one hope that he doesn't commercialise Danglay. We can barely keep up with what we have and it would be more cash burn. Sorry but exploring Danglay at this point in time would be a disaster, get it sold and forget it ever happened.

On a sperate note, if ECR's performance is worse then the state of the markets then can you explain why they have dropped the price today by 4% on less than 4k's worth of sales?
