The rig was purchased at a discount. Purchasing a rig is one thing, getting it into AUS is another and that will be the attraction. That fact the rig is already in the country is a big plus.

I'm guessing that's the plan Snip, secure enough cash to prove up Hurricane and allow the sp to rise. A placing is is invertible, the question is at what price.

Selling plant at a loss isn't ideal but should they come out and announce a placing you'd be the first to be jumping up and down. The truth is Snip, them selling plant rather than going for a placing is a fly in the ointment for your agenda. Who cares what cash they had left, the fact is the property sold in time. Compared to POW who seem to raise every other week the BOD are at least trying to avoid a placing.

I agree with you, somebody is offloading regardless of the volume. The only person I can think of who will profit at this level is Paul Forrest but he apparently can't sell because of results. I've pointed out before that GSA are coincidentally closing the short into the sells.

The moving averages are generally a pretty good guide, especially when they've been acting a resistance for a while. The MM were still happy to take 3m throughout the day and there was only 1 MM on the book at .35 into close. I dare say another tick up tomorrow and hopefully assays early next week.

For those that believe the charts, today we breached the 8 dma - the first time since 1st June. If we can finish above the 20 day at 33.9 it will be the first time since the 28th May - significant.

Whilst I agree that David Tang needs to go I don't think is the right time. We need QLD to work and rocking the boat could knock progress offcourse. We have limited cash and we can't afford to lose time. Let them make progress, we can always call an EGM next year if we need to. Tang is a waste of space but we can't let him destract us from what's important here.
