daramuda - Fridays RNS was an unexpected nice surprise. My comment was about publicity, we had a great RNS yet nothing from our Director of comms. Now, as I said, the time difference may have had an impact however we should be shouting about these releases at every opportunity. The whole thing just feels very flat, we get an RNS followed by a short tweet and a punch in the air, which begs the question what else in Andrew doing? How many AIM companies have a comms director, not many and so you would think we would have an edge.

Selfish, there were a couple of tweets last week debating whether the loan had been executed. The UJO twitter account tweeted this

Union Jack Oil "is pleased to announce that a loan facility and charge agreements have been executed between Union Jack and Europa"

That loan needs handing back to UJO as are now paying 10k per month in interest (confirmed by UJO). I'm hoping that Oddie is pushing Egdon for an update on Wressle so he can at least give the market so fat to chew over. There's not a great deal he can say other than reiterate the cash position and speak briefly on Serenity but it's better than nothing.

Agree Armani! Not sure if the time difference had an impact but now is the time to inject some life back into this. Lets get an interview done explaining what these results mean in terms of future work at HR3. AS should be creating fuss around these RNS's, it's not often we get one.

If I had the cash I would certainly be looking to take it out. Like you say, clear the decks and use it for the Wressle income. 12m/yr + gas sales due from year end.

Yes, an interesting time to release a RNS. We've not had one at that time of day for a while. Good to see the 1m sells have dried up, suspect that was a talking point with the Chinese when completing the purchase of the drill. HR3 now back in the ring, could this be why they've bought the second drill? Finally feels like this is starting to come to life. Chart looks great, we breached the 50ma for the first time since May. Hopefully next week we close above it.

Still no word from Oddie...meanwhile somebody is picking up stock. Is he keeping quiet until they're done or is it Oddie himself. Also interesting how there's been no TR1 since Monday when we traded 114m. This has to be the cheapest play on AIM however we need confirmation of the 1m loan being cancelled and an update on cash.

A TR1 will confirm their intentions, obviously this will come after the 17th. Whether they convert now or in two years makes no difference except converting now puts cash in the bank, cash they know we might need in a few weeks.

Because they understand that there could be a possibility that a placing maybe required for the side track and they don't want diluting. This way both the company and Aleph win.

Until volumes return I can't see it. Oddie might actually be pi*sing in the wind if he was to come out now but it can't get any worse.

Thank you for your email and I agree that the performance of the share price has been disappointing. However I note that today the price has recovered somewhat and is 1.25p (+10.6%) as I type.

We shall be communicating further with investors in the near future.

10% is barely scratching the surface, not sure what time he wrote this but to only notice the sp at 22:44 doesn't show much regard towards it.

You still here Mirasol - haven't you got any fat balls to be hanging.

No problem Selfish, it is positive but it would be nice for investors to hear it from his mouth. We seemed to have bounced from the lows which is positive.

If they're going to pursue it then go with the resource they've got on the East, every time they appraise this field it gets smaller. We're in real danger now of being taken out.

We were naturally disappointed not to be able to make a more positive announcement this morning on Serenity. As I stated, there are already discovered resources in the eastern area of Serenity and we will be working with the operator i3E to progress these.



I understand from the advice we have to date that the Serenity expenditure will be allowable against Energy Profits Levy (otherwise known as windfall tax) which we would otherwise incur from our Wressle Field revenues.



I am confident that, as investors realise the breadth and inherent balance in Europa’s portfolio, the share price will recover as Europa remains in a financially strong position.

In a response to an email I sent him yesterday.

It's bonkers, even with the markets on their arse this should have bounced. Also surprised there have been no TR1's from yesterday as yet, I don't believe for second that nobody crossed a threshold yesterday. I've replied to Simon Oddie suggesting he comes out and faces shareholders in a podcast. Simply saying "shareholders will realise the breadth of the portfolio" is absolute rubbish.
