Who the hell knows where this will go? I am actually surprised the deal for the £550k has gone because of the share price moves, to be honest. I would have been pitching my £500k at 1p per share anyway and we would all have had to lump it by the looks of things as the company looks like they only have days left. What were they going for? We will never know but perhaps a missed opportunity all round.

Well, I was hoping that this RNS was going to confirm the funding but it seems that they can only disappoint these days. Still not quite the end game but each day's news seems to get worse. Amazed at how quickly they have managed to get to this point. Going to be another interesting day.

I noticed the same. Paid down all of the other companies (except the director!) but increased Pasha. Keeping everyone sweet I assume should something unpredictable affect the company. Very prudent.

Two successive days of shock RNSs and 33%+ falls. It begs the question of what they are going to pull out of the hat tomorrow? £500k? Or, given that we have already had Earth, Water and Fire, perhaps a ruddy great tornado is going to rip the processing plant to pieces. Anyone check the local weather forecast?

Clearly the market has given its reaction to the news and it is negative. Not unusual for me to disagree with the market. A lot of opinion on here is negative as well but I do struggle to understand what people expect. It's a small explorer.

Well, it isn't quite dead yet! The 'going concern' quote was posted in yesterday's RNS and reiterated today so it is hardly news today. Of course it is a concern but I suspect that the necessary funds will be raised at a cost. It is certainly in the balance but I am still optimistic that DCP will come out of the short term cash issue. The medium term one will be interesting as that will require a strategic partner I believe. The trading patterns this afternoon are quite interesting. You are getting a lot of small-medium sells but these are being offset by fewer, larger buys. More than 10% will have changed hands by the end of the day. Huge volume.

Because they wouldn't be able to pick up near term producing assets for the kind of price they can afford. KGLD have very little money and very few assets. The only real currency they have is their shares and a little cash. This sort of deal is the best they can really hope for currently.

Weather forecasts are created by solving multiple simultaneous partial differential equations which results in increasing sensitivity to initial data as the time lines increase such that, beyond a certain time frame, solutions are likely to move into the chaotic domain. That time frame varies but is always no more than a few days. To summarise, who knows?

Given the fact that the debt is currently more than the market cap. then elimination of that debt alone should translate to more than double the market cap. Add in the lower risk premium for a company without debt, the potential for increased production at lower costs, a supportive gold environment and the potential for returning cash and double over the next couple of years would seem like just the start.

Dibs61, I never thought I would see the day when I would argue for KGLD and you against! The cash generative thing is rubbish of course and the purpose of the cash would not be to distribute to KGLD but rather to assist in the drilling so they would see none of it. When I first commented on this I suggested that the 'innovative' approach may or may not reduce cost. I suspect not. The 4.5% dilution is not much of an issue in my opinion, especially as it is agreed at 1.6p which suggests an underpinning of the current share price. I actually quite like the deal as it has at least the potential for being newsworthy over the coming months whereas everything else associated with KGLD (Indian gold, Fintech) is just noise. And I am a bit of a gold fan as you know. I tend to agree that they will not get the full asset value for GMSI but even a discounted amount is better than the theoretical value in a country that is unlikely to ever move the assets forward.

Indeed. But it is too late for that now and they need to focus on the current issues which are coming thick and fast! Getting the mine back operating and getting the emergency funding are the key. I think that the latter is going to come in very low as whoever gives it to them has got them by the balls. I suspect that someone will provide them with it and it would be very interesting if it was a party who could potentially be interested in a takeover. Somebody will surely be looking at this as a phenomenal opportunity.
