You've just answered my novice question!! Lol
I was going to ask why is regulation such a bad thing? To my mind its another step towards crypto being accepted as an asset by the mainstream banking networks. Sure they'll be bumps in the road, but I see it as a really positive move.
What do others think? I know nothing !

Hi All
A kinder day for everyone today. Some very good advice on here tonight re investment strategies.
Personally I've only been investing for 18mths or so. I've made mistakes, we all have, as long as you learn from it, then even a mistake can be of benefit sometimes.
I would say to EVERYBODY on here, even those that are feeling a bit low of late. Give yourself some credit, we're all investing in the midst of a pandemic, in probably the most volatile time the market has ever been, in the most volatile stock on the FTSE.
I reckon that means even the cautious amongst us have got decent sized cajunas, for getting involved in the first place!!!
There is no right or wrong strategy as long as you're comfortable with it, we all have different aims, goals, time frames and commitments so invest in the way that means you can put your head on the pillow at night. Plus don't be too hard on yourself. Don't get too high on your winner's nor too low on your losers.
Good luck with your investments everyone.
Stay well and stay safe everyone
DaggerMal.
Ps Another crypto novice question coming later!!
Herd- Me and you both! I follow the balance sheets and fundamentals , im very much learning on the job with Argo.
Novice question number 1 then.
In your experience was the last week or so of heavy drops purely down to the thumbs of EM and the China regulations scenario?
Or could it be argued that the drops also occur because as Bitty becomes more recognised as an asset class, it has started following the FTSE and their downtrend of the last week or so?
Bitcoin used to plough its own furrow but it definitely seems of late to be correlated to the FTSE. Hence today was made much worse due to general market sentiment not just sector sentiment?
I hope that makes sense! Any responses welcome, even if just to shout me down!
I won't reply til tomorrow. I'm knee deep in that drama on ITV and want to watch that before I creep up the wooden hill!
Cheers everyone

Thanks for the heads up. I've been stalking this board/share for a while, so I think I've got an idea of whom to listen to and who to put on what I call my 'rascal list'.
They seem to appear on all the red days on every share on the LSE board. Always predicting armegeddon, and a share price drop to normally between 30-50p. Am I close so far? Lol
They come out as sure as night follows day. I'm not sure any of them actually own shares, just trolls or anticapitalists.
I will ask really stupid questions no doubt. I'm no expert in crypto far from it, but the fundamentals of Arb, are too strong to ignore. Hence my investment. Tbh my portfolio is full of companies that I may not fully comprehend what they do, but there balance sheet reads well, and Argo certainly fits that criteria.
Thanks for taking the time and effort to reply.
Many thanks

Cheers for sharing. I will definitely have a watch. Everything is knowledge.
Gold v Bitcoin. Old school safe haven v the new kid on the block.
Tbh thats why I added, I wanted some interest in both, rather than seeing it as one v the other.
I'll definitely have a watch
Cheers

Exactly my thoughts. Reason I bought in the other day. Not at 1.04 sadly
1.22 is ok. Couldn't get anymore today, I spent up at 1.22!!
I'm hoping to add over time though. I'm not well versed in crypto, but the fundamentals of ARB look to good to ignore.
Lets see what happens. Hold on tight it could get bumpy!!

Hi everyone. Is it just me, but am I alone in thinking the SP has underperformed the last few days? With POG at 1880 I thought we'd be nearer 1.25/1.30?
Perhaps some of the more experienced people on here can educate me as to why?
DaggerMal
Steve I added today( crypto), for exactly same reasons. Just for diversity in the portfolio. Not fortunes but enough to keep me interested. Like you I see it as money written off, rather than basing my whole portfolio around it.
Hope you're well btw.
