The October 2018 RNS mentioned in one of the paragraphs:
"FM57 is a dose-ranging, multi-centre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, home use, parallel group clinical trial of topically applied GTN and will recruit approximately 1,000 patients with mild, moderate or severe ED and compare the efficacy of 0.2%, 0.4% and 0.6% GTN doses of MED2002 against that of placebo. The trial will include at least 60 centres across Central and Eastern Europe to ensure patients are recruited as quickly and efficiently as possible."
The key things about this new trial compared to the earlier one which fired the Shareprice close to 80p was to recruit 1000 men (compared with 242 previously). But it is to be double-blind and placebo-controlled unlike previously I believe. I'm of the impression that the key things they would like to see are (1) does a .2% dose help mild affected patients - which then they perhaps could market off-prescription and (2) how far does a .6% dose help medium to severe patients - these would need to be on prescription.
I'm hoping we'll make rapid progress in recruiting patients for this trial - otherwise, I can't see the shareprice recovering anytime soon.
