My problem guys - as a LTH - is the poor management pr. Yes, I've long understood the commercial value of what they're doing but they just don't seem to get the need to keep a trickle of information flowing.

Frankly, if it hadn't been for the likes of Woodford a few years back offering 5p in the placing (ie. £5 in today's share price) all on the promise of initial drug trials, I doubt there would still be a Reneuron. The science would have been sold off cheaply to some large Pharma group.

Communication after that placing was clearly at fault - Michael Hunt whose responsibility it was in my opinion was complacent and watched the sp drift ever lower. Then the share consolidation 100:1 as a seeming solution whereas regular news would have maintained it and I believe promoted its value - 5p then could have achieved 50p with the right newsflow - not £5 becoming as it did at one stage 50p.

Even now, Management still don't get it imo - the lack of follow through with news of the 2nd cohort has screwed up the sp for no good reason.

Sorry Gimmers - I don't believe them - it's easy to plant reviews supposedly written by users. This is making me more nervous about the future - they've wasted a heck of money in China and we're no wiser as to what went wrong there. The lack of news is not good, as is the lack of media attention.

"Liberum Capital today initiates coverage of Futura Medical PLC (LON:FUM) with a buy investment rating and price target of 60p" but I hadn't realised it was only for in-house/registered clients.

I don't dispute anything you say Max - but the fact is the SP has traded in a narrow band for a very considerable time. The only way shareholders benefit is by an increasing share price and/or a dividend and two years ago I and many others here added to their original shareholding by joining the placing at 6.5p - that's all I'd get today if I sold my shares.

In retrospect, I think I'm surprised that TPG has managed to keep on side so many large Institutional shareholders whose buying average I bet is higher than today's shareprice. As Trurotrader has suggested - a dividend would send a message to others.

Interesting find JBongo - could indeed be a good way for us to get early signs of company success but I'm sceptical and think those recent reviews are 'planted'.

Not so sure Manifesto that you're right as the trading range for all that morning was 200p to Sell and 205p to Buy. I think we'll find that Woodford is starting to reduce his RENE holding - it might seem illogical to us as we believe the underlying factors are excellent for the Company but his funding pressures must be immense.

And let's face it the news from RENE dribbles out. Unless it was bad news from the 2nd cohort (something I very much doubt) then why not publish the data and allow the SP to recover some of the lost ground ?

After all, it is the shareholders, who have funded this enterprise. Too many AIM shares are like RENE, complacent when it comes to shareholders.

I'd agree with you ThomasBrowne but there's still the matter of the substantial Lombard Odier holdings - which could knock the SP at any time.

Why no mention of the delayed report of what must have been a sale of 560,000 shares @£2 raising £1million last week ?

Today's announcement certainly from headline news seems just what we've been waiting to hear - will it be enough to move us out of this low share trading range though ?

I mentioned a month ago that Woodford had 35% holding in Rene but that it was split between the Patient Capital AND the Equity Income Fund. It had occurrd to me last week when the 1.1millions share transaction was seen that it could have been a Woodford sale as it was known he needed funds.

I know the transaction price seemed either way and this bulletin board felt it was more likely a Buy - but if you think about it, and now we know Woodfords serious problems, then I do think it was a Sell. Which if I'm right is a great pity for him and shows the pressures they are under as Investment Managers.

Today's news from the company is the kind that should auger well for their engineering development but I'm surprised it's considered for an RNS

Sorry - I meant to say sold at an average profit of 14p per share.

From 23.99% shareholding last November now down to 15.91% - a total of 16,502,000 shares sold. For argument's sake, let's say an average of 14p per share, makes a cool £2,310,280 taken out of the market pretty much all from private investors from what we can tell. All in less than 6 months.

Where would the shareprice be now if they had retained their holdings - back to the 50-60p range ?

But for an online business like theirs, they do need to up their game quickly in my opinion. There is currently little SEO - try finding links to MyLotus pages through words such as ' Fertility ' ' Fertility tests' 'fertility awareness' - you'll not succeed but you will find the competition ClearBlue. The latter do pay for Google links but with more pertinent documentation on the MyLotus website, free links will quickly emerge if the effort is put in. I don't see that evidence yet - I hasten to add I own CPT shares - I'm just anxious that management doesn't get complacent.

I for one would like to think so Trek. Today's announcement is yet another good indicator that sooner or later the sp will rise significantly,

You may be right, as looking at the small 'declared' volume of approx 79,000 shares and the fact that Buys seem to match Sells then barring a late reported trade, the current price looks like it should be higher.
