With nigh on 8 million shares traded today, and apart from a mid/late morning dip of Sells, the bulk of today's activity were Buys, then I'm surprised we ended the day with such a modest increase.

Yes I expect we'll get there eventually but Cartmell seems to me to be acting like a Dictator - it's his way or nothing.

I am surprised frankly that given the long-time institutional investors TPG has, none of them would seem to be complaining !

Your right to show a bit of cynicism Dinoken but the Midas write-up is worth a read especially for newcomers to the company although I don't see why more cash would be needed from shareholders for any further acquisitions.

I do think Cartmell has shown complacency (?) when it comes to notifying existing shareholders in his recent RNS - why does the Daily Mail seemingly have more detail than we saw ?

But that aside, Joanne Hart in her article does sum up where I think the company is heading:

Agree with you wahlberg. I raised previously that there was unlikely to be any update on the RP trials. I am disappointed that this has proved to be the case but I can understand their logic of holding back the info.

If it helps with their negotiations with other companies like 'Fosun' then it'll be seen to be for the good. As a LTH, I'm still very positive about RENE and don't intend to trade it.

Put in RENE for example and they'll notify you when an RNS is announced sometime after 7am pre-trading 8am.

I do want specifics Toptiger - but I don't think we're going to get them on Thursday is what I'm saying.

The RNS though makes it clear there has been no trading in the share - just a change in Manager. That's got to be good news - doesn't it ?

There seems to be an expectation on this BB that as well as end year results to be announced 11th July, there will be news of the 1st and 2nd cohorts of patients in the current Retinitus Pigmentosa trials.

I'm not expecting specific news into RP trials - it's definitely not what I want to see happen. I want to know how the 2nd cohort fared and just as importantly, to know if there's been any change good/bad of the 1st cohort who will now have completed more than half a year since treatment. I'd rather receive regular updates so to avoid large gyrations in the shares.

At the previous company announcement, I notice they made it clear that:
"We expect to treat the final six patients in the study this summer and to report data from all 12 of the Phase 2a subjects in the second half of this calendar year. "

But, if that proves to be the case, do we know what can be expected in the share tradings ?

We talked about this last week that LO are always in the background as a likely seller.
In all 2,475,000 were disposed of this time - that's appreciably a greater total than ever before although there is consistency in the periods between disposal 5 - 7 weeks.

They've now shifted 17 millions I think since they added in last year's placing at 7p but the good thing from a LTH's viewpoint, is that the shares have relatively easily been absorbed by private investors as far as we can tell. And the steady cycle of sales shows in my opinion that it's based solely on achieving immediate profit rather than any negative research as to FUM's inherent value.

The good thing is they now only own 30 millions and under 15%. The trend will be upwards again I am sure.

Does the vagueness of Chris' comments presage a placing ?

Gimmers - you sound like a CPT staffer !

You can have plenty of patience if you're on the paybill but as a shareholder it's information and the shareprice that counts. For initial investors they will be dismayed at their losses but remember it was only in April that the further placing and share dilution at 4p took place.

We're hardly 3 months since and the SP is 40% lower!

Fox has long been a promise waiting to happen.

To date the results have been very poor and the constant cash raising and thereby share dilution has left us all the poorer. Today's RNS says some of the noises we want to hear but its improved cash flow I want to know is happening.

Can anyone quantify what this might mean for the company please - as Chris doesn't tell us !
