I hadn't realised OH's pay was £539,000 (see Haplo's comments) and presumably Michael Hunt's must be high too. On what possible basis can this be justified ? I too have been a shareholder before the advent of Woodford and pre NW's major investment at £5 a share. Management don't seem any closer to monetising their assets and the sp has drifted lower on expectations that there will be no such news coming soon.

RENE is following the well trodden path of other AIM stocks whereby the early investors lose-out by evermore dilution.

Reverse this process Olav Hellebø et al and then you will deserve your hefty pay but right now you deserve a pay cut !

As a small LTH I saw the signals of the early SP rises in January/February but had lost too much in other AIM stocks to add then - but fortunately did add twice in March so I’m looking at a very useful profit.

I’m going to follow my LTH strategy which means do nothing ! This is an exciting investment - we all know the background inside/out - some luck is needed as regards the authorities who control the approval process but the product’s science isn’t in doubt.

Shut your eyes and it’ll come right !

Re. your post, what's your thinking on this given that SNG is a therapeutic remedy.

As a LTH going back nearly 10 years - not 10 days - it's a bad sign when the BB is taken over by a multitude of threads extolling the virtue of what ??

There are lots of very small deals going through perhaps matched by 'daft' ramping/deramping comments - it's a sure sign in my experience that some fingers are going to get burned. Yes, I believe SNG is a sure thing (but what price I don't know) but I wouldn't play the share like a poker game.

And in RENE's case it was the likes of Woodford that bought a large stake, added substantially at the last placing - equivalent of £5 a share - and look where it got him. Many of us have also paid that price and even a little higher - I seem to remember my high was £5.50 ?
We knew that these biotech companies were a long-term investment but it seems that the end goals in RENE's case are forever being pushed further back - hence the lower sp price. I can't fathom what management and the Board are doing - I do know that the CEO and MH pay themselves very well so they can afford to wait. If there is a cash call, it will dilute the equity substantially I'm sure and like so many AIM stocks, the johnny-come-latelys will be buying at lower prices and benefit the most.

Trump meandered through his speech as only he can do but there was lot of meat in there worth hearing - therapeutics umpteen times he said it - we'll be on the list I'm sure and a lot will ride on RM's shoulders - he's pushed through his share options and so he's capable of pushing through communications with the FDA

Also, I do appreciate you and Unvrkw sharing your thoughts on the Mine Prophets - I hadn't realised Fox was taking part.

I am still wary though of CG. He had my trust completely before - but the previous build-up of positive comments and the strengthening of the SP only to be followed by a placing, knocking the SP back, I saw it as a cynical move by CG.

Eshaitan - on what grounds can you base a hope of 10p a share this year ? I'd very much like it to happen but experience shows us this has been a miserable business - all bluster - no profits.

The argument towards prescription approval first before OTC is good and will certainly improve perception imo. As for product name, haven't the company had in mind Exoron or something very similar or have I misread previous company info ?

As a consequence of researching FUM and various aspects towards ED, for a time I received repeated advertising emails from companies offering products via email including viagra and herbal medications for male sexual problems - they always emphasized total postal discreteness.

So, I don't see OTC approval for FUM's products as anything other than a total blessing for us and a big uplift in the shareprice when OTC persmission is received.

How does any approach square with the large share options that RM gave himself and his fellow key workers ? Will that guide his judgement ?

This is the reason why many of us stuck with it through the highs but more frankly the dispiriting falls as recent as last Friday. RM included the scaling up of production, anticipating a successful outcome to the trials, as one of the reasons for the placing done in April at 35p.

I must admit, even as a LTH, I was getting nervous that the outcome might not after all be so successful.

Would it be right to assume Lansdowne have sold some of their holding this morning ?

BBC 12 midday news asked their reporter outside Southampton University " what should anyone newly diagnosed with Covid do" ?
The reporter said they should go online do a search for Synairgen and sign up for their online home trial. We know that's mispeak as ony a few participants are needed - but in my opinion that should jog the authorities into opening up this drug for everyone's use .

Then where do we go with the shareprice ?
As a LTH this has been a long time coming but great all round news.

It's a shame that ex Chairman Miles Pelham couldn't deliver the goods - means I've a long way to go to regain a decent value from my holding much of it obtained at ludicrously higher prices. Nevertheless, their focus now on Gabon - one of the better African countries - with enormous hardwood resources has already shown much promise in the figures announced a short while back.

The company has an excellent reputation for employee conditions and tree management & sustainability - and with new funding to clear much of the debt and a management heavily involved with its own money - I'm confident this time they'll do it.
