RE: Webinar18 Nov 2020 23:15
Webinar recording will only be available to Full paid-up Sharesoc members, not free Associate members.
It was well attended (75+) - Richard Marsden wasn't quite as forthcoming as one hoped - this was partly down to spasmodic interruptions of his internet connection and some content and fluidity was lost as a consequence. The Phase III trial has not yet started but is still expected to start soon/this year. Although we know that it will spread to possibly 20 countries, nevertheless a heavy concentration will be on Hospital trials in this country because of SNG's status as Most Urgent by the UK quango - this will ensure earlier conclusion. That said, RM did indicate fastest could be 2 months to completion but could go to 5 months.
Home trials are still not completed and during the Summer months they had no participants but since October they are now coming in thick & fast. RM is aware that they have taken on new Home Trial participants from people introduced by investors. He would encourage this - anyone with early Covid symptoms over 65 but over 50 with comorbidities.
I'd hoped to hear news of the French Trials (Amiens ?) but RM said that was independent of SNG and had no news to impart.
The key financial point I took from this presentation was the likelihood that with positive data from Phase III that SNG would expect to sell to the Government (foreign governments too) for future Stockpiling. The product has excellent shelf life - 3 years in glass phials temp 2- 8 degrees and 5 years stored at -80 degrees. Assuming trials go well, the product will suit many respiratory diseases, not just Covid - hence the excitement towards income from governments stockpiling.
They are gearing up now for product on shelfs of 100,000 treatments per month (each comprising 14 sprays). RM said a reasonable value per treatment would be $3,000 similar to Remdesivir and so offers SNG massive income going forward.
At the end of the webinar when RM had left, there followed a good hour of back & forth discussion amongst investors/would-be ones. The consensus was that we have a good investment here with the Company clearly feeling positive but that Investors are finding the current shareprice journey perplexing and uncomfortable.
RM is open to questions from Investors - email him.
