The discussion about 25mins in is very reassuring re SNG and the Doctor says he’s very hopeful about it working as they had, pre-covid, used it successfully for Asthma sufferers.

Today's RNS for the 1st quarter results has to be seen as excellent reassurance that the change in Woodbois management is making all the right moves for the success of the company. The new management promised more regular updates and here we are just a few days into April with 1st quarter results. Business growth looks remarkable especially in the light of the Covid pandemic.

The projection for the year looks good too with Paul Dolan CEO quoting:

"Despite the continued proliferation of COVID-19 and the subsequently challenging global economic environment, Woodbois expects to turn cashflow positive and to deliver record revenues during 2021"

The trial (presumably being run by the Clinical Pharmacist Mr Aurelien Mary) is also listed. I'm sure that is the one as it's being run from Amiens - see entry about halfway down the 6th page commencing:

I still do not know what to make of this trial - note that it's smaller in size - the lead I'm assuming is Aurelien Mary who was know last Spring to be attracted to the merits of Synairgen.

Matterhorn - you forget that Interferon-Beta is already in use for assisting Secondary Progressive stages of Multiple Sclerosis and has been for a good decade. Although I understand it is only given to younger cohorts of MS sufferers - hardly those in Care Home ages.

gggg21 - you make a really good case for it being SNG - I'd certainly be happy if it were them.

But in retrospect, the funds the Government is making available is somewhat small beer isn't it ?

gggg21 - is it possible SNG is one of the 2 therapeutics alluded to in the Gov't Trials announcement ? Is that what you think ?

I certainly agree Sir Stephen clearly mentioned Care Homes in his interview with Sky News, but SNG is in Activ 2 and running a stage III trial, whereas this Gov't initiative refers to PROTECT-V trial, run by the University of Cambridge which is expected to last a year and the one that would more likely fit our bill, PROTECT-CH, run by the University Nottingham, will also look at treatments for reducing transmission and serious illness from the virus, for Care Homes, their residents and staff. But that the trial will begin in May 2021 and last around 2 years !

So, to my mind SNG isn't likely to be one of the participants - or have I totally misunderstood what these newly announced trials are about ?

I skirted over this RNS before - clearly when the trial's results are announced, they already have a significant feature here that can be strongly publicised even if the interferon benefits might get lost in the fog of all patients in the trial receiving 1 to 1 support whether on the drug or not.

Good idea Aqua - hopefully the Government won't take forever to fill this role. The task is needed in the UK that's for sure.

Zeon - there was certainly a special divi/shares promised to holders at the time following the successful spin-off of SkinBiotherapuetics - in fact SoH told me personally at a 2017 Investor Show that they were looking at ways that shareholders on the date of split could benefit.

That was quietly allowed to slip to the point where it is now a lost opportunity. The current languishing sp bouncing around the 50p mark is all we have instead. But we all hope for that seemingly elusive burst of big profits.

Pretty pathetic one-liners Realism and arrant nonsense on funding needs. FUM has now sufficient funding for this last stage of bringing the product to market.

We're starting to see some big trades going through - both Sell & Buys. Interestingly, this is coinciding with Miles Pelham's vehicle, Rhino Venture, which has offloaded some of their holding to large independent investors. The spin-off is probably bringing Woodbois to the attention of a wider investing circle.

There were some delayed trades being reported Tuesday 23rd March which will have been a Sell of 1 million shares.

But yesterday 24th March there were two delayed trades reported of approx 6.7 million each, total approx 12.9 million shares and will have been Buys.

Although showing as slightly down today, I feel certain we'll see a tick-up in WBI before long.

Dave - I go along with your analysis completely - thinking today might be a good time to add back some shares I top-sliced near the peak. I don't normally trade but just added this morning at 52.8p.

My instincts are that some selling by Lombard Odier has already happened - will we see a TR1 shortly ?

RoyRoy - played right by the BoD, there's no reason why your earnings estimates couldn't be right - and especially so because I seem to recall James Barder mentioned a price nearer £5 a tube not nearer the currency equivalent of £1.

That is why this share has great potential - I wonder if they still intend to call it 'Eroxon' ?
