Especially, given that the website shows only two principal shareholders - SoH himself with 11.61% and Finance Yorkshire Seedcorn Fund with 10.7%, an approach by BATS could really stir things up. Thinking about it, it doesn't seem such an outlandish idea.

I agree Hotchip - that was my understanding from the Investor presentation.

Frankly though, the government website is embarrassing, listing as it does every tom dick and harry of the testing world - makes a mockery of helping the public - the Civil Service just thinks they've done their job by listing anything and everything, including top of the list 45p tests and the multi £££s at the bottom of the list.

It would be a remarkable event for SNG if indeed it did get EU approval by their end month deadline but why would SNG be included at this early stage ?

After all to quote them"The Commission intends to build on the experience from the EU vaccines strategy. In particular, the aim is to have three new therapeutics available by October 2021 and possibly two further products by the end of the year.""

I don't think we've heard anything worth reporting from the Continent, since our French clinician Aurélien Mary was so enthusiastic towards SNG in late spring. Certainly he retweeted RM's own tweet last week announcing the Activ 2 news but I haven't seen anything else in the summer months that might provide us pointers either about SNG or his efforts seeking a French alternative of inhaled interferon.

sparkboy - maybe I'm getting too old or you're too young, but in all my active sharedealing years, I've never seen a share like this:

1) this LSE bulletin board, despite some of the juvenile twaddle, has been incredibly insightful - I've learned stuff I never knew could have existed, and

2) if you'd seen RM at some of the many presentations in earlier years - someone flagged one up from 2016 the other day where I was in the audience - you'd have realised you were being presented with a possible 'Google' or 'Amazon' 'Tesla' opportunity providing it of course came up with the results, and

3) the impact that a pandemic (how many of them will you see in your lifetime ?) could have given this treatment that had been struggling over 13 years to make any worthwhile impact in drug trials, but repurposed as a Covid drug is now almost at the finishing line, and

4) the fact that the pandemic is far, far from over means SNG is a powder key just waiting to explode with even more intensity than could have been imagined when it was just for asthma or even COPD.

That's why sparkyboy - sit back and watch - good luck everyone.

Malc - I wouldn't beat yourself up on early selling - even investors with more experience do the same but just don't declare it.

I know that Warren Buffet is quoted as saying:
"Never lose money. Stay rational and stick to your homework when researching businesses in which to invest." and also, "Never invest in a business you cannot understand"

. . . so you presumably haven't lost money, only the chance to have made more money. The beauty of this bulletin board though is most members have contributed insights - some admittedly small but it does mean the other quote above doesn't apply here as we do understand this business and all of us know what's riding on the pIII results.

It's unlikely you'll ever see another share opportunity quite like this of SNG . . . in your lifetime !
Just about everyone on this board, including myself, will be wondering whether to sell out ahead of the results if the sp continues upward towards 250p never mind about even larger steps especially if they've accumulated large holdings. You will though make very, very real money if pIII Sprinter results are as good as we all think they will be . . . but only if you sit tight and do absolutely nothing despite all the ups and downs we can expect the sp to take.

It's easy for me to write these words of wisdom - but by god it's hard to follow them - good luck Malc and everyone.

MHC trades quite past few days - but I thought I'd check current position and the spread's really narrowed and market size to buy and sell has increased:
Buy 1.967p
Sell 1.9351

spread just 1.6%

Such a semblance of market normality in their shares at last - hopefully a good sign going forward - GLA

Am I the only one that thinks the options are too generous at this stage vis a vis the amount that shareholders have supported this company over the years ?

SNG has been a tradeable share for months now - my problem is I can only ever add - I can never bring myself to sell. I'll be happy if today's news see the sp settle around the last placing price.

Great to buy at 163p but at 8.06am someone sold 125,000 at 162p - why ?

There was a late trade Friday 15th of 1,200,000 shares only just reported. The sale went at a fair price 1.9p and still the market ended firm then and again today, Monday has ended a little more firmer.

Maybe that presages a better week ahead for MHC - it would be nice to think so.

Ignore the silly derampers, at or even higher share prices, there is a lot to go for here as an investment. Remember we’re very close to the 1.75p price the initial investors came into this stock and they’ve since done all the hard work to achieve the fabulous results and big contract signings.

There is a heck of a lot of potential here in this stock and with covid still a main concern but also now with significantly high cash levels in the bank after all these recent months of successful trading, has to auger well for the current shareholders.

I have reflected on my view yesterday - none of us can know for certain where the sp will be in the coming weeks but at around these levels, it is absurd to trash this company as some have done - perhaps for their own short-term interests.

The income that has been generated - yes on the back of Covid - but look how others have screwed up offering a second-rate service. Now that we know for certain that they've processed over 250,000 pcr tests and yet maintained at 4.2 such a high TrustPilot rating shows just how well they have taken their chances and succeeded. On that basis, I am more confident that their next stage of operations will also be successful given the team they have put together.

With the Lloyds and Boots tie ups, particularly Boots with its more than 10 million Advantage Card holders, augers really well for new product launches. They deserve to do well.
