Some of us here have 'horrible' share purchase averages - mine's 7p and that's only because I bought several lots earlier this year at the 2p level - I agree with you TT, we're buying the faith that Chris Gilbert will finally turn this about. I hope his guardian angel is watching over him - we don't want anything to befall him.

@maartinelwick - I agree with you about filtering these idiots (in reality probably 1 serious disrupter underlies them all). The moderators shouldn’t be allowing on this BB in any case.

As someone whose been in this share before - like me from the 7p placing - do you have a view of whether there ‘s a likelihood soon of an EU/UK contract ? How do you read the current situation ?

We were promised more announcements this year following the Mexico/South American contract - or perhaps promise is the wrong word for me to use. But the website is now up and running - they are focused on naming it Eroxon - there is sufficient detail even on this basic website, that gives us assurance that the BoD clearly believe this to be a world-beater product for ED.

- The current share price is at a distinct discount to the last placing.
- The current share price is approx 60% under it's 2021 high.

I'm thinking at current prices, FUM looks worth a top-up. Given that there's only just a few trading weeks left this year (6 weeks) up to Christmas, what do you think the chances are that we'll have a EU/UK tie up announced soon ?

Reading these threads has become a whole lot easier since I [Filtered] most of the contributors.

Monkeytom - I forgot the important proactive presentation 24th September - that really does explain Paul Dolan's enthusiasm for the money to be made in Carbon Credits business and higlights their inhouse expertise on managing their massive forestry concessions and how they use GPS to pick out individual tress for felling.

It's only a matter of time for Woodbois to really start moving ahead - since they changed their focus to Gabon, the earning have really started to roll in.

Hi Monkeytom - I too reckon you will in time come to see how well you've done to get in under 5p. Especially as the last placing earlier this year, and which was fully supported, was at 6p to which I subscribed fairly heavily. I since added around these levels too.

That placing money was for two projects -

1) purchase and installation of the new veneer lines - well, the second line actually, which has just come on stream plus the even bigger third veneer line due for completion fairly early on next year - I don't remember the details. I do remember though CEO Paul Dolan saying they are making 50% profit margin on veneers.

2) purchase of a massive increase acreage 71,000 hectares to be given over to planting new trees financed by the purchase of carbon credits by big business. You'd be well advised to watch/listen the recent 'InvestorMeet' presentation done by Paul Dolan where he goes through the carbon credits market in an easy to understand fashion.

Trading this year has really been phenomenal especially when you think of the lockdowns in much of europe - I feel confident that the full year results will be excellent and it's only a matter of time before this share starts a strong roll upwards again. I've said it before on these threads that if 'Lumber' was called 'Gold' we'd all be talking about it's huge increase prices in world markets - and Woodbois is sitting on a whole lot of it.

Decided to add again today - hopefully taking advantage of improving my buy average. I may have got the timing of some of my recent purchases wrong - easily done with AIM stocks - but nevertheless I remain bullish on their prospects.

The Directors are making a more determined effort this time to show their support of the shares. Today's RNS shows that the Chairman has also added more shares. Perhaps not a massive sum I grant you, but in the context of Falanx's miserable share performance these past years, it is a hopeful sign nevertheless.

SMTrading - please can you explain how I go about checking the numbers and are these actual pcr tests undertaken or just guesstimates ?

Always a better sign, if nothing else, when the Directors buy the shares - even if it's only around £7000 and £2000 worth respectively.
