Thanks CrisTmoc - whilst most of us know the recent success factors at WoodBois, it's always good to read someone else 's efforts pulling the info together.

Jonah58 - fully agree with your positive and balanced reasoning.

All the commentators suddenly springing up on us remind me when I was a guest at a 'jolly' at Wentworth - the Wife and I were turfed out of the morning drinks tent for the caterers to get ready for the afternoon lunch do. Not knowing what to do we stood by a green when a ball popped on it and a horde of people came from nowhere - Sevvi popped it in - they all cheered and then we stood alone again.

Woodbois is without a doubt a gem of a company that providing Gabon doesn't implode will at some point really bring in the money which to a large extent is doing already. The article isn't really speculative and 2000% is only a £1. In its previous incarnation Obtala shares were trading at 22-25p which itself would be 500% rise if it were to get back there.

The real problem is that our new shareholding friends scoff at the 2000% mention but really want somehow to get that in as short a time as possible (a week ?) and it's not realistic. But buy them around 6p mark and say to yourself you'll park these shares (play short term with other shares) and simply wait - you will be rewarded over time just like the big boys Lombard etc.

You make a good point about Lombard who have been very supportive at the big discounted placing (7p ?) but also too at the more recent 40p placing. Unlike the earlier one, they were taking profits along the way which kept the sp growth down but I'd like to think that they' want the sp well north of 40p again.

Problem is this statement from Barder's RNS today:
"Entered into a period of exclusivity with an, as yet, unnamed party regarding a potential agreement for the EU and UK marketing rights for MED3000."

We can't surely wait until the FDA approval is in can we ?
Why after the earlier country agreements are we getting no feedback on commercialisation of the product ?
The EU/UK markets are more than sufficient to get this product going.
The Viagra market continues to boom even though it's out of patent and even with negative comments about its effectiveness.

The money is in their coffers - so get on with selling it I say.
Hopefully the analysts meeting might show us more insights.

Barnetpeter - I wouldn't say it's hype but timing is everything with AIM. You might be proved right selling some at 5.9p having recently bought at 4p. But I just did a dummy sell and found I could go up to 600,000 at 5.95p after that would be on nt basis. So, the MMs want the stock and it proves in my mind that sooner or later these shares are going to 8p this year. WBI has recently bought new acreage especially for selling the carbon credits and new plantings.

It's tempting to sell at 6p or 8p in a while but the article is sound if excitable but the trouble with AIM is that punters hope for riches in a week and then move on.GLA

Thanks Expart for your added thoughts. Assuming the new Gabon COO is good it’ll release Paul Dolan to get on with the carbon credits business which business should lift the sp more quickly.

It is still a strange mix of businesses but presumably this is a cheaper way to get a novel business idea off the ground with a London stock market listing. The Linden Holdings ultimate major shareholder is a great positive so I’m assuming Fox/Eco will open higher when it gets re-listed.

Did HotStockRockets have any thoughts about our share price prospects ?

I was thinking again about Federico Tonetti leaving the top job. He was given very substantial options which he will now forfeit and which are achievable in just 3 years as I recall subject to the sp being 6p etc.

Reading between the lines, I’m getting the impression that Paul Dolan was expecting FT to be in Gabon a good part of the time as they have now setup a new post of Gabon COO which makes perfect sense. Likely then that FT didn’t like the idea of spending much of his time in Gabon ??

Excellent results - and posted so quickly too - which shows you how closely management is watching this business. Likely to be a personality clash and/or the new man not wanting to be so hands on or on site possibly ? We know Paul D is more than capable as the phenomenal growth of the company to date shows.

At some point the market is going to waken up to the prospects here - especially the soon to be finished installation of the 3rd and major veneer line. PD has reported in the past that they can make 50% margins on veneer products.

Our money is safe in Woodbois and the outlook for us as shareholders is really good.

Roly12 - PM also said in 2021, that we'd be moving on to the new Products in the New Year - to be clear then, they're months behind and dragging their feet in my opinion.

Not sour grapes - but just to remind everyone that the referred podcast is 5 months old. There's no change on the website other than TrustPilot results now exceed 6000. In actual fact, it now exceeds 7000 so the website is very stale.

There's still nothing new about the DNA testing products - other than 'Coming Soon'.
We're now well into Spring when they were previously announced - and of course we know that they're now saying Quarter 2 which is April onwards. I agree we have to be patient but nevertheless the SP has suffered as a consequence as the market clearly see them as solely a COVID business, which to all intents and purposes they are as of now.

Coming back to the TrustPilot score which, being built on Covid business, shows that even when your'e doing everything right, you often don't get a perfect score for reasons you can't control like this one:

"SERVICE GOOD, COST BAD"
"The service was great, but the cost is too much. It does feel like they're profiteering on the back of Covid."

So the sooner they get these DNA products out, the better I'll like it for my shareholding's proper worth.

Founder of Fox Marble Holdings Plc, Etrur Albani is on the board of AGMH Ltd., Tin Star Ltd. and Zenova Group Plc. He previously occupied the position of Managing Director at Kosovo Telecom JSC and Managing Director & Executive Director at Fox Marble Holdings Plc. Dr. Albani received a doctorate from London South Bank University and an undergraduate degree from the University of North London.

He's using his contacts bringing in the massive Linden Holdings Ltd - so not so straightforward after all. Might be a bumpy ride - there again we might do really well out of this tie-up ?!?

Yes - quite a difference Sailorgirl being Eco Buildings Group (not Eco Building Ltd).

Why would a £50 millions + group want to take a 25% share in Fox by way of a £250 share of the £1000 opening capital of Eco Buildings Group ? And who is Etrur Albani being shown as the individual with significant control of newly created Eco Buildings Group ?

This is looking much more positive for existing FOX shareholders - I hope I'm not being too naive.

On the Companies House website ECO Buildings Ltd was dissolved 2011 and there's nothing new to see. A tie-up with Linden Homes would seem to be a positive fit but do you know anything more you can add ?

My earlier post this morning has been lost ? So just to recap and précis my thoughts - I’ve met and spoken with CG on a 1 to 1 basis several times and he’s always seemed straight. He must be looking for an exit himself as it’s been a grind running this business in such a difficult environment both economically and politically. I’ve invested as much as 25p one time and of course all the way down to but I’m still underwater. Chris will be too.

It’s that exit that I perceive- assuming I’m correct - is the positive aspect for us shareholders. So I’m quietly confident we’ll see some good come of this.

Well, I for one am pleased to see, if only for this evening at the end of the trading week, a nicer spirit on the board. It took a week or so to get back on with my life following the Phase III announcement last month - and being self-employed this week's been hard physically and mentally - made all the harder knowing I've lost over a couple of years wages in the SNG fall.

So, the nagging feelings which have re-surfaced this week because I was too optimistic, I'm quite certain are digging away in RM's stomach too - the what-iffs, the mistakes, the relying too much on other parties like Parexal which weren't at risk whatever happened.

So thankyou Andybe4 - for this thread which has helped settle my regrets and my self-analysing. I can go back to being calm and patient once more.

You have to wonder what has set today's sp rise - volume hasn't been significant although there were two circa £20,000 purchases at 12.38 and 12.39 early this afternoon - the rest of the day's transactions were really non-descript according to London Stock Exchange figures.

I've been in this stock for so many years now and it really has gyrated back and forth - it was only a year ago when it touched 80p intra-day on the back of the CE marking announcement and to think it started today off at 25p.

Let's hope James Barder really does have some good news for us Monday.

I ploughed through this morning the extensive audited reports - searching to see if there was any hidden detail that might trip up the company but there was nothing untoward in my opinion.

We are looking at the beginning still (I was going to say Birth) of a fine corporation that could be a household name in future years. All the right things are in place, safer African territory in Gabon, excellent staff relations, longtime concession rights, vastly expanded in last two years, additional market opportunity for carbon credits, lumber market continues to be advantageous worldwide, a skilled Board of Directors suitably motivated with options which only start to work once sp is 6p and growing. Why is the sp still languishing ?

The answer to that is a mixture of disappointment still hanging over the company when it was run by Miles Pelham - some missed opportunities - heavy debt - chopping and changing what markets it wanted. Financially they are now sound and but for the lack worldwide of shipping containers, their earnings would have been really amazing. Even so they are remarkable.

The Company's brokers Cannacord continue to look for the immediate target of 6p and thereafter 8p.

It's all looking good in my opinion.
