By the way, it does irritate me that Brooke Clarke has not corrected her email address on some recent RNS/communications - she shows media@syairgen.com whereas it should be showing media@synairgen.com.

We have an excellent and growingly profitable timber business especially given the expansion of veneers, but the exciting opportunity of servicing the Carbon Credits market offers Woodbois an immense business opportunity on top. Who knows how lucrative this may turn out for shareholders but your links clearly show management’s really positive about it.

I've come to the conclusion that certain posters have their own agendas re WBI and I no longer want to read their comments. Their constant negative gripes about carbon credits are simply staggering. You don't need too much knowledge on the subject to realise carbon sequestration is more easily done by simply growing trees.

The government of Gabon was present at COP26 last November alongside WoodBois. Note the word alongside. At Davros last week a heavyweight panel (inc. Mark Carney) discussed the establishment of the Voluntary Carbon Credits market - this is happening now and is going to get ever stronger and WoodBois is going to be a part of it. Such developments offer the chance for very big gains - yes it requires some luck on when it will happen and by how big the growth will be. But one fact remains WoodBois is there right now.

LordPaul - please excuse me but you told us yourself you sold out your holding and profited by the trade - others haven't been so fortunate.

The problem here is new products are late in coming - the delivery date has been pushed back several times and we don't really know why.

We also don't know why the Finance Director left so soon after joining.

Randox did a big marketing splurge on just the products we want to see promoted - their base price was £45 so I'm hoping what we saw by accident recently was what will be our product range too but yet the website is still carrying a few unexciting images of supposedly 'available soon' products. Therein lies the danger as I see it. Now could be a brilliant time to buy more shares but once you have more than a modest holding, you effectively can't sell them.

It's been a long time with no real information as to what is going on at MHC. Have faith by all means but I'd sooner know where these new products are.

Lordpaul - I don't know why you say that - too much is being taken on trust that the company will deliver. Why the delay re. the new products and are they going to be the more advanced products we had glimpses of the other day ? No wonder the sp is weak.

BradSmith - I meant to thank you for the Armchair Trader link - I hadn't seen that before and it gives a good explanation of the opportunities open to WoodBois - cheers.

I've enjoyed reading your posts BradSmith - I do agree the carbon credits market offers much promise for WoodBois and am eager to hear from the Company at the forthcoming meeting. Also, we'll have a good idea of the first half of the year's trading. I really can't understand why so much negativity from some posters BC100 and Greyfriars - who I believe are one and the same person. Be that as it may, what's with them keep repeating over and over the same point ? Are they holders of WBI or not ? Doesn't seem like it.

Jay - there are often delayed trades (can be Buys or Sells) which are not immediately reported to the exchange - effectively delayed to suit the book of the market maker. They do eventually get reported but often up to a day late.

Today we've just seen reported at approx 15.15 this afternoon a trade of 800,000 shares at 5.70p but it was booked at 14.07pm - LSE is showing it undecided but clearly it was a Sell given the price range at that time.

I share your frustration dosanddonts and also your positivity as well as milktray and other board members.

But it’s time we had realistic forecasts and timescales from Barder. This is a share owning company, not a Barder fiefdom. He can afford to take his time as he’s well paid for doing very little in my opinion - and I’ve been an investor here for more than 15 years.

His talk of ‘we’re working hard’ rings hollow - the CE marking was approved a year ago - the diclofenic application using dermasys seems to be somewhere in the long grass and even less is heard about carbonide use.

I want some measure of ongoing accountability from the BoD - I don’t want to hear wishywashy information. If we can’t know financial impact numbers, then I want to know product availability dates both here in the UK and the others areas Latin America, Asia etc

Their absence is the prime reason the sp is in the doldrums - the board has to reflect that the sp is nowhere near the 40p placing let alone the higher numbers prior to the board taking advantage of that fact so they could do the placing at a discount.

Barder is arrogant in his dismissal of justified shareholder questions. Finally, look at the website - nothing’s changed since it was put up - pathetic !

Excuse me say Discoman1 - but your new thread is misleading.

Lombard Odier has been increasing its holdings. Last December they were at 25% and in February moved up to 26% then later moved up again to 27% - now it's 26.99% a difference of only 25,000 shares. At these levels this could just be automatic portfolio shaping - also they will be conscious of triggering the 30% holding rule.

Proactive - a well written summary of where we're at. If only we could have used some of their talents for writing Synairgen's RNS's !

The delay in deep dive results is to me more significant and worrying. Whilst I continue to believe the product is beneficial to many patients with respiratory problems, I am coming to the conclusion that the management I saw in previous years extolling its virtues are seemingly out of their depth.

That promise has not been fulfilled and given the shock to the market with such a massive fall in sp, I would have expected a more dramatic turnaround from Synairgen before now.

Yes - the link did work just a close bracket ) in the wrong place. I don't pretend to understand the carbon credits market and its prices but it is a market like any other and so sooner or later we'll all easily be able to work it out. What I do know is that Woodbois is in the right place right now and this year will show it's true potential. Either management prove to be good or they don't but a lot of money is riding on them proving to be good.

A lot of talk was about what sparked the recent spurt in the sp - to some extent that was a delayed response to excellent 1st quarter figures but it did get wings from the so-called fake article or rather an article that no longer is visible.

We should be realistic and note that none of the recent editorial from whichever quarter it has arisen has been 'fake' - it has simply been a positive spin on what the various writers see as Woodbois' near-term potential. And to that extent none of it is fake as the trading outlook is very good - world lumber pricing continues to advance, shipping problems are easing, Covid is retreating - at least in the summer months, Woodbois is installing it's third and largest to date veneer production line where margins we've been told in the past by WBI are 50% - and then there are Carbon Credits - which brings us back to the Tesla article and which has underlaid the tremendous growth in Tesla's own shareprice.

Could Rhino Venture Capital or Lombard Odier been behind some of the more excitable reports so they could off-load some shares ? Someone (or someones) certainly did as there were quite a few tranches of several millions of share sold but they were not at the top end of the recent bubble.

I don't have the time to research from where or by whom but I do continue to feel Woodbois, barring political accidents, is in a very good place and looks a safe and growing investment at least for the year ahead.

There's been too much looking for reasons why this share shouldn't progress.

YES this share will go up and down just like any other but - YES too - you won't lose your money if you stick with it. Their business is going great guns in Gabon - the new veneer lines which generate 50% profit margins will alone massively improve 2022 earnings. They have purchased the land which will have new tree plantings to secure the sale of carbon credits - if they weren't in the best position when I first started buying their shares 10 years ago, they certainly are now.

Woodbois - very much under the radar.

Today's RNS advises that yesterday Henry Tucon acting for Lombard Odier sold 10,653,157 shares at 6p. Prior to this they held 19.39% (369,852,222 shares) so it is only a small reduction in percentage terms. Today we can see there were 10,000,000 shares in several tranches (some reported late in the day) so it's not clear if they were all sales. If these too related to Lombard Odier, which is likely, we can expect another RNS tomorrow but again they are not significant in percentage terms.

On the face of it, these transactions are typical of the manner in which LO often manages/reduces its shareholdings to generate liquidity rather than exiting a holding in its entirety - so I remain comfortable with my WBI investment.

2.5p is a long way from where we are right now jamrock. What’s your basis for that and are you referring to by/sell/middle ?

We now have Randox setting up their Diagnostic shops as well as online. I saw they had a big advert in The Metro last week and they had a separate big write-up in last week's Standard. Tests will be from £49 and are more wide-ranging that MHC has indicated.

They will be hefty competition unless we are quick/good on marketing and using Boots/Lloyds to do the selling.
