I have followed PVG for a couple of years now. I sold when they got to the £2 mark which was too early but have bought back in at 116p. Hopefully it's near enough to the low point. It seems that the American business is not priced in at all at the moment so any good news from there should give us a good boost and hopefully the downside will be limited if not.

Here in my view, the buying group has contributed very little and the future is clearly in the pet care plans. Just getting going in America but looking very promising. Not many businesses have growth as good as PVG.

Egg on my face and can you hear me gnashing my teeth? But I can't see the sense in increasing the dividend and borrowing to pay for it.

Can see this going to £6 or under again. Even if the results are ok and the dividend is held. Too many question marks over the next few months/ years. Have invested in aminex at 6.7p

I have been chewing this one over for the last few days and these are my current thoughts. I did mention my doubts about the questor tip last Sunday. Particularly their belief that the 7% dividend was safe and I am concerned that according to questor, Inmarsat have been talking to the city boys (maybe whispering in their ears) that prices for our services are under pressure. I am also slightly concerned that (maybe or probably) there are people who already know what our final results are, especially as there are three month gaps between quarterly reports but a four month gap up to the final results. Having said all this, what we have heard from the horses mouth has been all good and I am growing more positive that we have seen the worst of the share price fall. I think we are in for a volatile but positive fortnight coming up and I won't be surprised if we are back at around the 800p mark at the end of said fortnight.

Undoubtedly good news. Probably expected though. Should help us on our merry way all the same.

Has a buy recommendation but I have followed their column for years and their tips are no better than you get on a bulletin board. In my opinion of course.

Well Optimus, I would obviously like it if the shares rocketed up but I'm feeling much happier now than I was a week ago. It's looking like a really solid recovery to me and I'm sure there will be a 5% up day before too long. ATB. Dabbler.

Good recovery from today's low. As others have pointed out the fall has been so persistent. Every little recovery has been squished. Let's hope that this is the start of a mirror image reversal and that the recovery will be as persistent.

Probably a forlorn hope, but maybe a statement might be put out in the morning. Anything to stop the rot. Having gangrene can't be much more painful.

Hi Shroder, I suppose the good thing ( and the point you are making) is that no one is willing to bet too much on the share price going lower, maybe just a few little punts. Presumably the full year results will be published on the 2nd of March and the board are currently contemplating what to do re the dividend. I suppose the consensus must be that it will be either held or cut. If it is I think the share price could recover anyway as this scenario is already in the price.

I did predict 200p here but the manner in which the price has got there seems very strange. All these big buys from nowhere. Either they've got wind of something or the share price could go straight back down to the 130p approx mark because there is still a lot to do to justify this valuation. Look at the market capitalisation and then look at the annual turnover. As far as I am concerned this is a good time to get out of a thinly dealt share with ( normally) a large spread.

That there won't be at least a little rebound here within the next few days. A growth business A dollar earner A juicy dividend And what's to say there won't be a predator on the prowl, licking their lips whilst the share price is depressed? Compared to one other (similar pattern) big faller recently ( I refer to Capita) I think the prospects of recovery are much stronger here.

The reason for the drop could be a reaction to Cobhams' poor trading update and rights issue yesterday. I've been watching here for a while and was kicking myself for not buying but I think I'll wait a bit longer now.

No movement in the share price so far today, but when the management state business is going far better than expected it would be surprising if there wasn't a move up soon. I reckon £2 a share before long, 40% up from here. All my opinion. Dabbler.

Yorkshireman, this is a business with exceptional growth over the past two years ( in numbers of pet care plans) excellent recent news ( American deals) although the financial details haven't been disclosed yet. Pure speculation but I wouldn't be surprised if the American business alone was worth 2 or 3 pounds a share in a years time. Also debt free or very close to it. If this was a technology business the share price would be far higher. I think the directors are holding over 70% of the shares too, so it could be assumed they have plenty of confidence. I'm certainly not selling here. Dabbler1
