I was in URU when the investments in MRS were made gige, so I know. I didn’t like it at the time and said so.

Sorry I have checked the RNS now. I got my facts wrong. In November 2016 Zorbas acquired 12.5 million URU shares at 0.4p. Still a good price though ( for him)

Thanks for that Guzzler, I thought he was involved. I remembered thinking how it’s alright for him to buy shares in ANR at 0.05p because he paid exactly the same for shares in URU at one stage 0.05p I think that was about 18 months ago without checking the RNSs again. Something is not right about all this in my view because he gets all these shares so cheaply that he is hardly taking a risk at all whereas the rest of us are paying the full market price and then left wondering because he doesn’t keep us informed.

Ah, maybe I’ve got that wrong but thought he was linked to ANR somehow? Henry Kloepper is I think. Stand to be corrected if I’m wrong.

Well some stocks have been pumped and then dumped, another way to make money would be to dump, encourage others to dump, spread scare stories even dare I say it slow things down, loads of ways to lower a share price especially small caps and then buy at the lows. It wouldn’t be a surprise if there are stooges or freelance agents carrying out the dirty work for the unscrupulous.

The seemingly innocuous RNS earlier looks as though it could turn out to be quite a big story. Could it be possible that our share price along with others has been deliberately manipulated? I genuinely have no idea. Presumably they were close to the MMs but what do most of us know about such things?

Surely if you drill enough holes in a certain pattern and get the contents independently assayed there is not much more you can do aside from digging out the whole lot.

Maybe Trevor Brown had a couple of million he could have sold this morning? A small amount like that wouldn’t be notifiable if he’s not directly involved here maybe? If anyone doesn’t know what I’m on about just look at today’s chart for MRS and the timing of the RNS there. Basically we could quite easily end up as someone said earlier.

Agree diggit. I just can’t see it being bad news. We already know for an absolute fact a lot of what we have. It’s all about moving from indicated to measured as someone said a couple of days ago. Also finding more efficient ways of extracting what we have. It could be that we get positive news on two or three fronts soon. Lots thought this was a good buy at 3p plus and what’s changed apart from the nickel price going up? I have a personal target of 5.4p here which is partly based on the fact that Zorby got investors to pay 4.5p and I would have thought they would want at least a 20% return.

It just takes a couple of big trades to move the price and then momentum builds and people trade both sides. There just simply wasn’t a catalyst today. Hopefully that RNS we’re dreaming of will do the job in the morning. I am still watching a few other stocks including RTO, HEMO, and PFC but I won’t trade before we get news.

Should be a good safe bet at this level in a generally volatile market but I think it could drift a bit lower yet. I held this stock for over 10 years from 170p down to 35p and all the way back up again. Out currently though.

As to the twatterati, I know what you mean but this is the only ‘social media ‘ site I have ever used. I don’t mind posters giving their views either way especially the thoughtful ones such as StarRage.

You know what guzzler. The first I knew of URU was on news of the 4.5p placing. I watched and watched the price decline and thought I’d got a bargain buying at around 2.8p from memory. Within a week I could have sold for a 20% profit or had a free carry. The rest needless to say is history. The hardest thing is trusting your initial judgment under such circumstances and I have come very close to chucking the towel in here. Much happier now that some of my purchases are in profit.

How do Guzzler, what do you reckon to the recent price rise here? Could you buy back cheaper than you sold at still? Fair enough if you don’t want to answer. For my own part I am well down here still, but getting much more hopeful of recovering my losses and even moving into profit due to having averaged down.

I use Halifax. Works ok but recently they have started sending a letter every time I trade, really annoying
