I imagine that the best thing to do is to wait until it is rising, not buy and wait. The point being that you buy at a lower price than current SP. That way you sell with no risk. With the average dropping they just wait. On a decent rise the current SP will be higher than weighted average you exercise and sell. No risk, guaranteed profit. Fairly sure that's how the bigger lenders do it. Seems like a no-brainer.

No worries, I know that it's not an attack. Mainly because I totally agree with you 😉. My point is that although you explain to a fair extent why the 6p was paid and go on to talk about value once clinical many have not. They have made simplistic and incorrect assumptions.

For me it's not about the 6p per say. It's about the fact that they are so confident that hemo are going clinical that they have put money on it. After serious due diligence and with far more knowledge than we have.

A buy now for a sell on Ind is as close to sure thing as I have come across.

Tempted for a top up but would leave me overstretched. A golden rule.

I think you are missing the point. I'm not saying that this was not a fantastic deal. But many on here have suggested that the 6p was paid because Prevail thought that was what HEMO is worth. That is just disingenuous. I have mentioned this before and been met with "of course it is a part of the deal". I KNOW. So can our resident campers desist. There is no reason to pretend Prevail just paid 6p because they thought it was worth that, it opens the door to 121, Stu etc . Just stick to the facts please, they are good enough 😊

I think a discussion around the 6p is overdue. There have been too many "if prevail think it is worth 6p" comments. They don't think it's worth 6p! This is a part of a bigger picture we have not yet seen.

What this picture is must be worth talking about. What was the extra 4p or so extra for?

The deal is a huge positive and suggests an imminent lifting of the hold.

The extra I think is a payment for some kind of partnership. But just a guess. Will we find out at some point?

Am I to understand that Vela has just got the option to sell a bunch of their shares for four million pounds and the company is actually currently valued at just over 5 million for all its Holdings? Sorry if it's a dumb question but just spotted this and was wondering if this was a proper steal or whether it may have ran its course
